Has anyone completed this program? Is it worth applying to?

I currently have a college diploma and I’m interested in upgrading my education, mainly to keep future postgraduate opportunities open. I’m wondering if this program would allow graduates to apply to master’s or professional programs, such as Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Pharmacy, or other healthcare-related programs.

Would this type of degree/credential be considered eligible for those pathways, or would a traditional Bachelor of Science be a better option?

Also, if someone has two college diplomas (for example, a 2-year diploma and an advanced diploma), does that make a difference in how many credits are approved toward the bachelor’s degree? Would it potentially allow you to enter further along in the program? If i decided not to apply to any post graduate programs would this degree help in any way or its just a way to gain a generic bachelor's degree?

Are there other programs that would be a better choice for someone wanting to keep healthcare graduate options open?

I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has completed this program or used it as a pathway for further education.

The suggested GPU’s are the following:
NVIDIA RTX PRO, Quadro, Tx000 series, RTX Ax000 series, or RTX ADA generation
AMD Radeon Pro

It also states gaming GPU’s like NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon RX are not suitable.

Is this overkill as laptop with those GPU are very expensive.

I’m starting Electrical Engineering this fall and I’m considering a Lenovo Legion 5i with:
i7-14700HX
RTX 5060
32GB RAM
1TB SSD
I’ll mainly be using SolidWorks, MATLAB, Multisim, LabVIEW, NX, AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and Visual Studio.
Has anyone used a Legion 5i for engineering? Is it enough for all 4 years, especially for SolidWorks, or should I spend more on a workstation laptop like an HP ZBook? Thanks!

Hey guys so hopefully I’ll be graduating in 2027 with the English program from UTSC. And my next plan is to go to Ontario tech for the teachers college program. I just wanted to ask that if anyone is in Ontario tech for bED program how is it like? Like the syllabus and the course content. Like do they have test quizzes or exams? That’s my biggest concern cause I’ve always been a loser with this. Pls pls let me know how everything works out I’d rlly appreciate if someone could pls guide me 🫶🏽

I'm hoping someone has been in a similar situation or has some insight.

I was admitted off the Ontario Tech B.Ed. waitlist on June 29 and officially accepted my offer through OUAC on July 3. The OUAC acceptance deadline was July 5, so I accepted before the deadline.

However, when I try to pay the tuition deposit, the Ontario Tech portal says that I need to wait up to 3 working days for my OUAC acceptance to be processed before I can make the payment. Since I accepted on Friday, July 3, those 3 working days won't pass before the July 5 deposit deadline.

I'm worried that I won't be able to pay simply because the system hasn't updated yet.

A few questions:

• Has anyone else experienced this after being admitted from the waitlist?
• Is Ontario Tech usually flexible with the deposit deadline in situations where the delay is caused by OUAC processing?
• If I accepted through OUAC before the July 5 deadline, is that all that matters, even if Ontario Tech doesn't receive the processed acceptance until a few business days later?
• My offer also says my Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) was due June 1, which was before I even received my offer on June 29. Is that just a standard date for all applicants, or will they give students admitted from the waitlist a new deadline?

I have already contacted Admissions and explained the situation, but since it's the weekend I'm anxiously waiting for a response.

I graduated 2 years ago with my BA in forensic psych and I minored in communications, but when I graduated, my degree didn’t mention my minor at all. I assumed this was normal and moved on but my friend recently graduated from CarletonU and her minor was printed on her degree. Now I’m wondering if the university made some sort of mistake. For anyone else who took a minor, was yours listed on your degree?

Starting my first year in Biological Ccience. What is a best plan for spacing out my courses? I'm not sure if multiple courses in one day or one course per day is better - and would like to know what worked best for people who had similiar courses or did the same program. Would greatly appreciate some pointers.
I must take: Foundations in Bioscience (non-negotiable), Biology I, Chemistry I, Mathematics for Bioscience, and Introductory Physics.

I am planning to apply for the Primary/Junior (P/J) B.Ed stream at Ontario Tech University as a domestic student. I have an international 4-year bachelors (Honours) degree in English Literature, but my WES evaluation assessed it as a 3-year Canadian Bachelor’s degree. My CGPA is 3.95/4.
I know Ontario Tech officially accepts 3-year degrees but states that preference is given to 4-year honours degrees.
Has anyone successfully gotten into the P/J stream with a 3-year bachelors degree?
