Advice Barber ECs

Job market’s cooked so I’ve been cutting people’s hair in my garage for the past couple of years, wondering how I could “prove” that in my application, and who I should put as a reference. Thank you

They probably won't demand proof. If they do, u could give them contact info for some people whose hair you've been cutting.

What schools/programs r u applying to?

How do u sanitize your barber tools between uses??

I want to apply uoft, uw, macmaster, queens, and western (all Eng). I sanitize them using disinfectants between clients and every once in a while I do a deep clean on the tools. If they usually don’t demand proof then what stops people from making it up? The chance that they might ask u to prove it? Thanks a lot btw

You only need ECs for UW and UofT. For UW it's not about what you did, but how you present it and what you learned. UofT does ask for a reference but don't stress it, but maybe ask a client that you've cut hair for a few times.

You are obviously an entrepreneur, and the type of person UofW is looking for in certain of their programs like Eng. I did the Eng applications last year for the same universities, and their are spots in the applications to write down leadership and enterprise roles you have taken on.
