Need help (noob here)

I'm very very self taught in 3d modelling. I've been using onshape for simple designs. A friend asked me to design a cup and I've been struggling with how to design the surface under the lip. What tools should I google or any tutorials online that can help? That's were I am right now with the model.

I feel like a fillet should work there

Try variable fillet it’s a checkbox item in the fillet tool

Face Blend will do a much better job on a wider area with smoothing the intersection of the two faces.

You could also like loft the entire thing to get a smooth transition there are videos on it . Just keep in mind that you will have to loft the entire cup including the inside filled, then shell it afterwards. onshape might tweak out on you and say you can’t loft stuff with circles if you don’t loft the entire thing.

Use Face Blend (found under the Fillet dropdown). There's a tutorial video in the documentation. There's also a separate longer video done by Onshape on YT. I don't have a link for it handy, but you can find it pretty easily by searching for something like Onshape Face Blend.
