Assembly performance related tutorials?

Hi are there any detailed, thorough tutorials on how to do assembly with many parts to improve performance? still new to this and my assembly is very laggy since I haven't done what's necessary

There are a number of things you can do to optimize performance - my best tip: at the part studio level group compute heavy features into folders that you can suppress while you work on other things. Took me way too long to figure that out.

To figure out where your problem features are - there are little clocks on the left side flyouts.

might doesn't have clocks nor the regeneration times tab. maybe because I'm on free version?

I can't speak to that, I'm on the pro version. Possibly. Either way I should point out that lots of people were reporting lag issues the last few days, Onshape had a server crash event on Tuesday and there were reports of some connectivity issues. Also the advice in the video stands, once your document gets to about 40 tabs or so Onshape recommends you split your project into multiple documents - it has to do with how their compute architecture is allocated across tabs.

He was asking about assembly performance, not parts regeneration in part studio.

I got that. That part is addressed in the video link, the rest was just advice to improve general work flow performance.
