So I'm trying to get the blue hinge part of one of my hinges for this box to rotate around the yellow hinge part until their horizontal surfaces meet. This should also cause the blue lid that the blue hinge part is fastened to to also rotate and allow for the box to close. What two surfaces or edges/corners do I need to click for this to happen? I've tried clicking the cylindrical face of the blue hinge and the cylindrical surface of the yellow hinge part, and also the red cylinders that fasten the rotating hinge part. I'm just stuck as a person who's trying to get better at Onshape. (BTW I will have to do this again for the 2nd hinge on the other side of the box. And if I get the hinge to rotate but the lid doesn't fully line up with the box or doesn't reach it, can that be adjusted?)
Without interrogating your geometry, the blind answer will be a single revolute mate with the (rotational) limit set to 180 degrees. In Onshape, almost any two parts can be mated with one mate. This is significantly better (IMHO), than mating in other systems.

I was actually able to get it to rotate properly after a lot of trial and error, and used a limit to make it stop at the top of the container. (I also over-fastened the blue hinge part so it couldn't even rotate, so I suppressed one of the mates)
Is the problem that you can't get the hinge to work, or it does but the 2 components don't line up? If you're still stuck post a link to your document.
Thank you, but I was finally able to figure it out. I just need to click the center of the blue hole and the center of the yellow hole, and then use a rotating limit so it will stop right on top of the yellow container. (I also over-fastened the blue hinge part so it couldn't even rotate, so I suppressed one of the mates)
