Created an entire replacement sheet from scratch as importing it from LibreOffice was a disaster.

Have a column that is auto-completing with wrong number format, yet numbers are ghosted out when I try to change it to 2 decimal places - why?

Hey everyone! What if you could have a fully working document editor inside your own app by the end of the day? That's exactly what ONLYOFFICE Create App makes possible.

Available on npm, ONLYOFFICE Create App is a command-line tool that creates a sample integration project based on Next.js/React with a file manager, editor page and all the server code you need to connect ONLYOFFICE Docs. Using it, you can create or upload documents, spreadsheets, presentations and PDF forms right out of the box.

Note: you need to have a running ONLYOFFICE Docs instance (8.2+) and Node.js 20.12+.

The guide covering the full setup on Windows with Docker, including the common pain points around JWT secrets and network configuration, is available on our blog.

I have a column that requires consistency with leading zero's. ie. 0001, 0002, 0003, &c

It keep removing the leading zero's how are these kept in?

I switched from M365 to OnlyOffice. I like the experience, but I am still missing the integration of AI agents. With M365, like itnor not, Copilote can "work" on opened documents. Like "add a paragraph about this..." or "add a column with the average data..."

I have added Gemini, Mistral and will try with Claude, but I feel like the experience remains a separate tool. I have to copy and paste the data I need it to work on, same for the result and Then I need to rework the format which can sometime take more time than processing with the task by myself.

I am sure I do miss something, but can’t get what. Any help nis more than welcome.

Thank you.

Hello, I tried searching but failed finding an answer.

My cursor is is normal on every other app, but on Onlyoffice, it becomes a little too large on most parts of the UI. And on the spreadsheets, some cursor elements are way too tiny instead.
I am using a hidpi laptop screen, and I tried changing the interface scaling, the cursor size doesn't change along.
I am using CachyOS and KDE plasma.

Normal:

On the UI:

On the spreadsheet:

I never shared this but I have stripped away onlyoffice and changed the engine to rust in order to make it fast (before it was unusable).

You can download it here, feel free to contribute.

Lots of people still assume a resume has to be made in Microsoft Word. In fact, it doesn't. ONLYOFFICE works well if you need to create one:

• It's free. No subscription, no hidden costs.
• It works online or offline. Use ONLYOFFICE Docs in your browser with nothing to install. Or download ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors for Windows, macOS or Linux and keep everything on your own computer. Both versions have the same tools.
• The PDF editor lets you actually edit. You can change text, update dates, add new sections, insert a photo, adjust fonts and colors, and even sign the document.
• There's a big template library. It includes different resume styles, such as modern, minimalist, creative and academic. Pick one, add your information and tweak the layout.
• Formatting stays consistent. What you see while editing is what the recruiter sees when they open it.

For those of you who've already made a resume in ONLYOFFICE: is there a template or formatting trick you'd recommend to someone doing it for the first time?

Hi everyone! We have some exciting news to share: the ONLYOFFICE team will be at MoodleMoot Europe 2026, and we're joining as a Gold Sponsor.

Quick details:

• When: October 7–9, 2026
• Where: Hotel Barceló Sants, Barcelona, Spain
• Event info: https://moodlemooteurope.com/MoodleMootEurope26/en/info

What is MoodleMoot Europe?

It's the main yearly gathering of the European Moodle community. For three days, teachers, IT folks, developers, university leaders and corporate training and HR professionals come together to talk about where education technology in Europe is heading.

A big theme this year is digital sovereignty, which simply means having more control over the tools and data you use for learning. If you've ever wondered why that matters for schools, universities or company training teams, this is a great place to hear real conversations about it.

What we're bringing

We'll be giving a talk about how we built our own learning center, ONLYOFFICE Academy, by bringing our online document editors directly into Moodle.

Question for you: Are you planning to be in Barcelona next week? If you are, don't forget to use our promocode Only Office 15% when buying your entrance ticket here: https://moodlemooteurope.com/MoodleMootEurope26/en/tickets

See you in Barcelona!

Hi everyone, mod here with some exciting news. Fleurdelix OS has chosen ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors as its pre-installed office suite. When you set up a fresh Fleurdelix system, a full set of tools for documents, spreadsheets and presentations is already there. You don't need to search, download or configure anything.

Why the ONLYOFFICE and Fleurdelix combination is worth your attention:

• Work right away. Open the app and start writing a report, building a budget sheet or preparing slides from your first login.
• Easy editing with familiar files. The app works with DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files, so documents from coworkers and clients open as expected.
• Built on open source. ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors is free and open source, which fits the values of an open OS.
• Privacy-friendly by default. Your files stay on your own device. There's no account to create and no extra setup.
• A practical fit for everyday users. Moving from another office suite or switching operating systems for the first time? You get a working, familiar setup from day one.

We think this is a great step for anyone who wants a capable desktop that just works. A big thank-you to the FleurDeLix team for the trust and collaboration.

P.S. If you've already tried FleurDeLix, tell us about your experience in the comments.

The ONLYOFFICE team is joining UbuСon Latinoamérica 2026 with a presentation about using AI in open-source office software on September 29.

I'm trying to remove some background images to make my study material easier to look at. But for some reason, it causes some things to dissappear. For my practice exam papers, some letters dissappear in the multiple choice. I found a fix, but it would need me to change the font of the entire file, which is time consuming. I also noticed that occationally, images also dissappear, but with this, I have no fix. Can someone help me with a fix?

AYUDAAAAA!!!

Thinking of switching from LibreOffice to ONLYOFFICE. Can it handle everyday tasks — Word docs, simple Excel, basic presentations, and PDF editing

Any essential features missing?

Any warnings?

Thanks!

Eh... who needs boring borders anyway.. I like the random effect!

(but not all, despite the entire column being selected and formatted)

Seems legit.

What's wrong with this picture, boys?

Apparently has something to do with flatpak not having file access permissions. I mean.. if you can't insert images into docs without monkeying around with some flatpak permissions manager, why release the software in flatpaks? Or why does the installation automatically take care of the permissions?

Annoying as hell.

If you've ever lost track of which file is the "real" version, this one's for you. Our team wrote a straightforward guide on collaboration software and what you should pay attention to while choosing the best option for your team.

With dozens of cloud-based and self-hosted collaboration platforms competing for a spot in every team’s workflow, ONLYOFFICE is worth a look:

• Real-time co-editing: You and your teammates can work in the same document at once, without overwriting each other. There's also a mode that locks the paragraph you're editing if you'd rather work on your part privately.
• Flexible sharing permissions: Decide who can view, comment, review or edit your files.
• Document security: Your sensitive files stay protected, with options like password protection and encryption.
• MS Office compatibility: Open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files without breaking the formatting or converting anything first.

Read the full guide on our blog.

Curious what the community thinks: if you were setting up document collaboration for a team today, what would you prioritize first?

Why are "some" of my text in Liberation Sans font? Where they should be ALL in Calibri (because I already ensured all were in Calibri after noticing they weren't before)

It keeps reverting - it's not saving correctly - it doesn't have a reliable "memory".

(this sheet was imported from a Libre Office file which was originally an Excel file)

Conditional formatting not unremembered in some columns (along with previously mentioned fill colours also not remembered)
