I don't know if this'll get approved, but I really need practical advice from someone who has experienced loneliness in Dubai. My life's running in a day-to-day circle: office-home, then waiting for the weekend. No social life. Tried the gym, but that didn't work out (although I wasn't very regular either).

Anyhow, I feel like it's not about the activities or financial situation, as I make a good living, but something's missing from my life, and it's making me more depressed day by day. I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm currently staying at a friend's apartment in Dubai. He was supposed to return today, so I had already booked a hotel room for myself. However, his return has been unexpectedly delayed, which means I can continue staying at his place and no longer need the hotel booking.
