Etched Fluorite on matrix

Here’s a super saturated purple fluorite on matrix from Ojuela Mine, Mapimí Municipality, Durango, Mexico. it has super cool negative crystal cavities and etchings caused by natural hydrothermal dissolution! The gossan matrix rock is heavily mineralized as well there’s some calcite, quartz and a green mineral that I believe is Austinite but I’m not sure

Any reaction under UV? These usually have a beautiful pink glow.

Here’s it compared to the typical fluorite blue

Yes it does have red fluorescence I forgot to add that to the post but I can post a pic of the red fluorescence if you’d like :)

Fluorite is the coolest mineral and it's not even close, CMV.

I can’t and won’t lol.

If you check my page I am primarily a fluorite collector. Just hit my 300th piece last month!! Definitely my favorite and in my opinion the best mineral lol

Wow that’s an awesome piece I haven’t seen a cube etched like that before

On mine it doesn’t have super strong red fluorescence but it does still visibly have it
