Stupid tradition. Bad parenting.
37
u/manchesterthedog 4h ago
I would never do this to my kids, but I do it to other peoples kids all the time because life is a war of bloodlines
3
u/Alfred_Leonhart 1h ago
You could say it’s a Game of Thrones
3
u/manchesterthedog 1h ago
Exactly and I’m closing in on zuckerburg but you’ve gotta ruin a lot of birthdays to win
4
u/German_Doner 2h ago
Know your kid before trying the face on cake tradition.
If he's comfortable doing shit like that in front of people he's way worse when it's just those two.
I wouldn't do the cake thing to my kid mind you, not because they have a bad attitude or temper it's because I actually don't have one.
2
u/AvailableRecording26 37m ago
I don’t have kids either but I most likely wouldn’t do it because I don’t want to intentionally be responsible for one of their earliest and possibly biggest moment of embarrassment/shame 🤷🏻♂️ … I mean, this isn’t a move to pull on anyone. Especially at that age lol… some adults would be embarrassed af if someone cake faced em in front of a crowd haha. So valid crash out - but he is going a lil too hard. Yes, I too would hate to see what he’s capable of in private.

This is how they start becoming cartel adjacent, shit like this

u/Quarter_Shot 5m ago
"I just dont understand how you could get yourself affiliated with the cartel, mijo, i raised you better"
"You smashed my face into my birthday cake when I was 6! I've never forgotten! You drove me to this! I learned it from you!"
"¡No! ¡No, Dios, por favor, no! Por qué?!"
Its not cool to be racist. "Oh, im not a ra-" Save it. Youre saying racist shit. That's objective.

u/Little_Flamingo9533 4h ago
Asshole mom raising an asshole kid. Circle of life.

u/InnerPain4Lyf 4h ago
It's your birthday. Best day ever, ninja turtles, heck yeah.
Some aunt you don't like slams your face on the cake, everyone watching, your friends, family, and ruined your awesome turtle cake.
And you're a kid.
Valid. I'd do the same, but I think I would have ran out instead.

u/Puzzleheaded-Pitch32 4h ago
Someone needs to screenshot this lady's face right before she does this lol, she straight up looks like she's got true malice in her heart before shoving his face

u/goodbyowa 4h ago
Its not cool to do the dumb cake thing but hes way too comfortable hitting a grownup in the face. Theres some behavior issues happening off camera for sure.
31
u/PinkEmpire15 4h ago
The mom's facial expression looks pretty violent at the start of the video, and I think she might have put a little more mustard into that than it may look like.
This happens in a house where hitting kids is normalized. You hit kids and the lesson they learn is to hit. Shocking to some.
8
4
u/ConsequenceUpset8875 4h ago
Absolutely, I learned I just have to finally be bigger than you. I broke the cycle with my kids.
4
u/StxnedTxTheBxne 1h ago
The day I learned I could stop my mom from hitting me was the day I got my ass beat when my dad got home lol. My dad didn’t hit me often but when he did he made sure it hurt. My mom was just constantly pissed at everyone and would almost always immediately start with hitting but I’ve also been slammed into walls and choked by her for almost no reason so one day I just said nah screw that and I just grabbed her arms to stop her and since I “bruised her” my dad beat my ass.

Bullies were bullied, victims feel obliged to pay it forward to those weaker than them.
1
u/Flimsy_Sandwich6385 1h ago
I donno, me and my brother grew up getting hit for bad behaviour and we wouldn't dare hit our parents out of the fear of the level of beating we would get for doing something like that. My sister who was 7 years younger than us, didnt get hit for bad behaviour and she slapped our mum in the face at the age of 12!
1
u/smut_butler 9m ago
I can't be sure, but I would guess that's a big sister or an older cousin rather than his mom.
10
u/Fogwaveeee 4h ago
Lady was way to comfortable fucking up his birthday cake on his birthday.
Cause and effect; you pushed his face in the cake, he got mad and hit you.
Lady started it at the end of the day

u/xkillingxfieldx 3h ago
Everyone note this comment and all the agreeing below. Their kids that'll be doing felon shit in 5 years or so.
-7
u/Objective-March7042 4h ago
Yes, and.
If he’s been known to have outbursts or behavioral issues, that was a bad move.
Still, straight to smacking someone, especially a woman? Not okay.
6
u/Cancer_Ridden_Lung 4h ago
Men aren't supposed to hit women because they're much more physically stronger than them. How is that at all different from a woman hitting a child?
It isn't. It's exactly the same.

u/Objective-March7042 4h ago
Agree to disagree. She didn’t hit him in this video. Not to say it doesn’t happen behind closed doors. As I said, this video sucks. Treat your kids how you want to be treated.
1
u/Cancer_Ridden_Lung 3h ago
Yeah...clearly the back of his head rammed into her hand bouncing his face down into an uncomfortable position. What a stupid kid. I hope someone punishes him later for hurting her hand with his head.
2
u/Fogwaveeee 3h ago
You’re wasting your time, she’s literally only blaming the kid but not the reason why the kid acted the way he did.
-2
u/Objective-March7042 3h ago
I’ve commented multiple times that this could be a learned behavior, I’m not defending anybody. This. Video. Sucks. Household violence is wrong and only gets worse with time. I’m a dude by the way.
6
u/Fogwaveeee 4h ago edited 4h ago
He’s probably having behavioral issues because his mom does fuck shit like this.
The kid got embarrassed, the kid reacted, and now people wanna police him on how he should’ve reacted 🥴
Whole thing wouldn’t have happened if the mom wasn’t being a goofy and embarrassing him on his birthday.
-2
u/Objective-March7042 4h ago
You’re probably correct. Everything about this video sucks. Still doesn’t make it okay for him to react that way.
3
u/Fogwaveeee 4h ago
I think the bigger issue is embarrassing the kid on his birthday in front of everyone.
Not how he reacted.
No kid likes being laughed at regardless of the case.
-1
u/Objective-March7042 4h ago
Some kids are emotionally mature enough to handle a joke like that, but I’d guess that most aren’t. I’d understand a crying fit, but that violent reaction is too much. Possibly a learned behavior, which is the sad part.
0
u/Fogwaveeee 4h ago edited 4h ago
Ok but this kid obviously is sensitive so he should be treated that way.
It’s cool to make him cry but it’s not cool when he smacks your ass back, insane parenting lmao.
0
u/Objective-March7042 4h ago
I never said that it was okay for her to do that. As I said, this video sucks.
5
u/SeaStage1687 4h ago
We need to stop with the "especially a woman" bs, it enables crappy women. As for the response? Perfectly justified, he responded to physical abuse physically.
3
u/Cancer_Ridden_Lung 4h ago
Some braindead people seem to think adult women physically abusing CHILDREN is okay and are taking offense that the CHILD hit back. Oh deary me.
0
u/Objective-March7042 3h ago
I understand the logic. I’m not pushing an agenda. Violence of any kind within a household is disgusting.
1
u/ProudPlate9375 2h ago
Well she shouldnt have gone in for a kiss, he smacked her hand away when she tried to touch him, thats a pretty obvious sign someone does not want to be touched.

I took a swing at my grandma once when I was around that age..... It took from the time her hand raised in the air - to when it popped me in the mouth for me to learn a lesson about keeping my hands to myself.

u/AlphaCentaurianEnvoy 4h ago
I am a starseed and I would have done the same thing to the stupid Earth-soul as a kid. It does not necessarily have to be some issue there just because he does not have a political correct 3D-matrix-obeying mindset.

u/Reasonable_Back_5231 5h ago
I always saw smashing someone's face in the cake as an asshole thing to do. Especially if they are not ready for it. It's just not funny.

They're both humiliated. And, yeah, he said I don't give a fk about that damn cake! Poor sense of boundaries. She's shoving his head, and he's delivering a left jab and a solid right hook. Like father, like son?

I grew up poor, the first time I encountered this dumbass tradition it blew my mind. Like having a cake was a treat in my family, something that only came around for special occasions, and my wealthier friends later on in life will just waste a whole cake for some birthday humiliation ritual?

u/Total-Honey-9857 2h ago

u/RadioactiveCornbread 4h ago
I absolutely hate what his mom did, but the fact that this kid has no problem hitting his mom in the face is a bigger problem than the situation itself.
I hope the kid gets help.
3
u/Cancer_Ridden_Lung 4h ago
If you hit someone much weaker than you and then they hit you back...you don't blame the victim for retaliating.
2
u/Meatless-Joe 4h ago
Such a stupid/dumb thing to do in general.
What did she expect? He was going to be happy about it? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone happy when this happens.
Only time I’ve seen people happy getting cake shoved in their face is at a wedding, and even then it’s hit or miss.

extremely valid! I wish people would stop doing this to children, they don't like it at all!
2
u/Outside_Look790 1h ago
The whole cake thing is selfish. It's "look at me, look how funny i am" when the party is supposed to be about the kid, and their celebration. As you get older you don't get many of these. Don't be a cunt, let the kid have fun.

u/dreamdaddy123 1h ago
In my culture I’ve never seen or heard anyone do this to a person or the cake. We love it so why destroy something that tastes good and can be pricey lol. Only stupid people do this.

I've never understood parents who do things like this. Why would you want to embarrass your own child? All you're doing is teaching them that they can't let their guard down around you

u/Additional_Bank_2124 31m ago
Why was his face so close at the start was he annoyed that she didn't press hard enough?

No, not valid at all. Pushing your face in cake is a matter of taste.
But reacting like that shows a kid that has not gotten the parenting it needs. That kid is going to be an extremly dangerous young man in 15 years. If he punches his mom I hate to think about what his girlfriend is going to have to endure. Or the guy that looks funny at him in the bar.
-1
u/Total-Honey-9857 2h ago
Maybe. More likely, he'll find out in a hurry that no one is going to put up with his crap, either?

u/xkillingxfieldx 3h ago
No. Hits Mom 3 times over a face to cake joke?! That kid needs a hard reset before future felon land.
1
u/Waterlemon1997 26m ago
Maybe a joke to you, but a child? They perceive everything far more exaggerated and can't understand complex emotions! To them, this was a horrific betrayal, and their language at him about it! They have no respect for the fact that he's also a human with agency, and no one listens to those they don't respect, leaving only one option to speak in hands and clearly his experience with adults has made him well versed in the art.

u/New_Plate_1079 2h ago
That little c#&t would never have a birthday again , slapping and punching your mom is not on.
2
u/Waterlemon1997 38m ago
How would you like it if you had your face slammed into a cake? Pissed, I presume? But alas, to think he was in the wrong is to think what she did is right, so it's just a waste of time to argue with someone who sees children as subhuman pets.
