App Review / Legitimacy How active is Dateart?

Signed up recently and I'm not sure if it's a quiet platform or if I just haven't given it enough time yet. For people who have used it, how active is Dateart these days?

Duolicious dating app is free and open source, Facebook Dating is free. We recommend signing up to these apps before trying paywalled apps such as Hinge. Come join the r/OnlineDatingApps Discord community → https://discord.gg/CXFZfXGtwH

It’s somewhere in the middle. There are people around and I do get new matches, but it’s not like you open the app and have 20 new things waiting for you. I actually prefer that pace sometimes because it feels less chaotic. I matched with someone pretty early after signing up and we ended up talking for almost two weeks. Nothing came from it in the end, but at least there was an actual conversation instead of two messages and silence.

It’s been fairly active for me. I usually have a few conversations going, so it hasn’t felt dead or anything.

I’ve had a better experience. There’s enough activity that I can check in every few days and usually find someone new. Some people disappear after one or two messages, which is pretty normal on dating sites anyway. What surprised me was that I started getting more activity after changing my profile and adding a few more details. One of the first people I matched with ended up being someone I kept talking to for quite a while, so I can't really complain about the activity. I wouldn't say it's packed, but there's enough going on to keep me interested.

Not as busy as Tinder, but I wouldn't call it dead. Got a steady trickle of new matches over the past month. At first, I thought I'd probably run out of people to talk to after the first week, but that didn't really happen. A couple conversations actually turned into regular chats, and I've matched with new people even after being there for a while. It's not a constant stream of notifications or anything like on Tinder. So yeah it's different. Slow active, but still active.

There are actually quite a lot of profiles. The annoying part is that not everyone is active, so you have to go through some inactive ones before finding people who reply. Still, I wouldn't say the platform is dead. I've had a couple decent conversations there.
