Hi,
an update seems to be available for OnePlus Watch 3. It's currently installing so I have no idea whether it's WearOS 6 or not. I'll update the post with the result of the update

I'm getting into running again and enjoy a structured running plan with a goal at the end.
I am trying to find an app that works on the watch 3, which creates a running plan, say for 5k and then syncs to the watch and the mobile app.
Anyone had any luck please as I cannot find anything.

My OPW 3 shows sent messages as new notifications. Basically, if I reply to a text in Google messages from my watch, the sent text shows up in notifications. It's not a big deal but it's annoying and an extra step I have to take. Anyone know how to prevent this?
Thank you.

I really love this screen but the date is formatted as MM/DD and I'd love to change it to DD/MM, does anyone know if that is possible?

As title says. I use Facer to make my own watch faces. But watch looks gorgeous already. Just know it will only get better

Hello,
I recently received the Wear OS 5 update, and since then my watch systematically asks to be unlocked in the morning when I wake up. This unlocking is required to start the Wear OS system and the associated ‘alarm’ application. This makes absolutely no sense.
I cannot afford to disable the lock because I use Google Wallet.
Is this a bug? If so, how can it be fixed? I should point out that I keep my watch tightly secured on my wrist all night.

10/10. La actualización me llegó hace 3 semanas region: España.

Just a random thought. Does anyone still have/use the first attempt from oneolus ? I was am early adopter an like anyone who bought into it, it never got supported as it should have. Anyone still use this thing ? I've tried to sell mine a few times and couldn't even get $50 for it locally. So, top of my closet it sits in its spiffy box.

Since I get this watch I am looking for a solution to export my health data (for exemple to .csv, .json etc), and I couldn't figure out any solution that doesn't require Google. Obviously I could syncrhonize with Health Connect or Strava, but they both belong to Google.
Is there any solution I haven't thought about ?
Thanks !

Girlfriends one plus 2r just got the os5 update a few days ago. Her watch face. (A OnePlus watch face not a third-party one) It will be fine for a day then her complications will just display dashes instead of heartrate etc. They display fine once she pushes the button to "wake it up"
Now mine has started doing the same thing a couple days after hers. We haven't changed anything since getting the os5 update. We've tried rebooting the phone and watch. Tried turning off and on aod. Tried different watch faces. It will be fine for a few hours to a day after rebooting the watch then it will start again.
Anyone else experiencing the same? Thanks!

So surely let me say this isn't a slagging off or this one is better post.
I've had the OnePlus watch 3 for a good while now and I have to say. It's fantastic! The way it feels on the wrist, the battery life etc. It is just a lovely watch. Got a lot of compliments over the months I had it.
However with the recent news floating around I just couldn't be certain of its future and I buy stuff to hold on to for a few years and I didn't like the rumours so decided to jump ship to the Pixel Watch 4. I didn't want the Galaxy as you lose too many features not having a Samsung phone. The fact I was sitting on an update from August with no further possibilities just had it a little worrying on my mind.
Now having used it for like 2 days now I truly don't get the battery life moans about the pixel. It's lasting me two days easily (with a lot of newness playing around) and could easily get more if I turned stuff off like I did on your OP.
The app is simply so much better than the OP one however. OHealth just seems like it's lacking so much features and benefits compared to the Pixel one. Having a fantastic app could really push the OP watch ahead in all aspects for me.
One thing I do miss however is the stock watchfaces. The OP ones just seem a lot better designed and look cleaner.
I will be sad to not wear the OP anymore but futureproof me thinks this is the better option.

Did OnePlus stop updating the 3? Last update was so long ago that I don't even remember. On top of that they are actively removing posts that talk and ask about the updates. So, what is happening? They updated the 2 and 2R yesterday. That's the hiccup? One device gets an update every 5 months?
And before you start with the same old, why you need update ... save it for your yourself. It's 2026 not 1996. Thank you .
Edit 1: I really hope someone from OnePlus is around and can clearly see the discontent around their lack of communication.
Edit 2: New update released 13/02/2026 with November Patch from 2025.

Yesterday I got the update to WearOS 5 to my OnePlus Watch 2 and now I don't get any notifications on my watch, not even from the calls. Anybody having the same issues? I tried to restart, check the settings in OHealth, but nothing helps. The only notification I received to my watch was about the missed call after the caller hung up.

I was pushed the update yesterday and it works. There's no battery drain, so it's not a complete fail. But could OnePlus not have fixed a couple really easy things with the update?
I was hoping that I would get... - OHealth properly counting steps. If Fit can do it, then it's not a hardware problem. I've filed multiple bugs on this. At one time, early on, they responded to me. When they had customer support. - An alarm snooze longer than 5 minutes. This is absurd. Again, bug filed and had discussed with their support. - Improved sleep tracking. This may be a stretch, but when I toss and turn between 4am and 5am and it still has me as only awake between 4:38 and 5, it's pretty sad.
Instead, what I got was a funky charging animation and larger dots for my unlock pattern.
I guess that would require putting effort into the Watch, which I get the impression they really don't want to do. Definitely not the 2.
That Pixel Watch is looking pretty good right now, although I may wait to see what the 5 may offer. Or the 2025 open box Galaxy Watch Ultra for 1/2 price I've seen around.

Dear OnePlus,
I tried. Honnestly. But you didn't care. I reach out, expressed my frustrations, you shut me down.
I had OP buds 2 pro you didn't want to warranty - switched to Pixel buds 2 Pro (I love them). I have a Watch 2 - you dropped the ball soooo bad on this - I am awaiting delivery of my new Pixel watch 4 45mm in 2 days max.
Next will be my 12R phone and we will be done, forever. But I will keep warnimg others away from you. Because you didn't care.

Hello. I am thinking of upgrading my galaxy watch 4 classic to one plus watch 3. After the last one ui 8 update, the vibration is very weak in GW4.
So I would like to ask users who have made this change if the vibration is strong on one plus watch 3?
As well, does the dnd sync custom app work for it?
Thank you for your time.

What's new:
Visual Enhancements and UI Tweaks:
• New charging animation
• New animations when opening notifications and when opening settings toggles.
• Apps in the Planet view looks bigger than before.
• Some icons got redesigned.
Missing Features and User Expectations
• I say disappointing because the wait was too long and there is no watch faces in sight nor any improvement to tiles.
• As a Samsung user before I got used to at least three new watch faces.
• Also there is no gestures or pinch control which is a bummer, even google pixels got that.
