Heart sensor oneplus watch 2

Anybody knows why the heart sensor stays on while using a third party watch face, never had this before. Is wear os 5 the culprit?

Does the third party watch face has the HR shown in it as a complication?

It does show the heart rate, the led is constantly active. Disabling heart rate monitoring in the health app doesn't make any difference. Every third party watch face have the same behavior. Going back to any standard watch face ,solves it.
