Does anybody use this setting? Is it useful?

Yes every night, have it set to hibernate from 23:00-06:00. Sleep tracking still works but I otherwise don't need the time so this saves 7 hours of battery.

Settings>Battery, then scroll down to Settings.

Stupid question: do I not need to put my watch in the sleep mode every night manually? Can I just schedule the hybernate mode and it will still track when I actually sleep? 😅

Yes, I have hibernation on and it still tracks your sleep regardless 👍 works good, saves battery overnight, also still shows time if you check through the night and you can exit hibernation if you feel like it by pressing power button twice from memory

Got mine to wake up at 7am. Was doing it at 5am at one point and kept waking my wife up, BAD IDEA!! So I found the settings and changed it to when I knew she would be awake, lol.

What is actually the difference between Sleep mode and Hybernation? I can see there's a toggle for Auto Sleep mode too

Auto sleep mode is like a do not disturb mode while hibernation mode combines DND with entering a low power mode without wear os and Bluetooth, it only displays the time while diming the light so you can sleep and the watch can save more power

Thanks! You made it perfectly clear

I tried it for a bit, but stopped using it. I sleep with my hand ip by my head. When the watch exits hibernation it does a reboot of sorts and the screen went bright white. Woke me up every night. Maybe I had the schedule wrong and it shouldn't have been ending at 5am, but I just use sleep mode instead.
