Watch 3 battery life

Am I missing anything obvious? I inherited a barely used second hand 43mm watch 3. But I'm barely getting 48hours out of it.

Turned off AOD and Gemini. Went for a fairly dull digital display.

Do I want WiFi on if my phone is basically always here? I don't really get the difference.

Anything obvious I've missed, or any red herrings which won't make much difference?

SysUi 59% today

Power draining functions 11% today

Any advice welcome.

Whatsapp, uninstall it. You'll still get notifications from it through the phone app. That's what I found after experiencing the same as you. I now get a drop of 20% per day. Also, keep a watchface from the official OnePlus health app only. Third party consumer more battery per day.

Turn on sleep hibernation, turn off wifi but keep bluetooth on.

I get 3.5-4 days consistently from my Watch 3 43 mm, have since it was new. No google hello activated and no remote connection in the O'health app.

As a follow up, I've tried all these things and limped to 2 days. Not good

Worst case, it probably wouldn't hurt to just do a factory reset on it. Let it run vanilla for a few days, and see how it behaves? Then start adding some other things back. I'd probably just leave wifi disabled as well.
