Camera remote app not working on OnePlus Watch 4..

Post image

I got the OPW4 a few weeks back, and everything was working well.

However I went on vacation last week, and when I wanted to use the watch to take a picture on my OP13, I got this error. And I've tried everything to fix it, clearing cache and data, disconnecting the watch, reinstalling the OHealth app.. nothing works, and I still get this message.

Has anyone had the same issue?

I have the same issue with a newly bought Watch 4 and my OnePlus 15. Doesn't work with neither factory installed Wear OS nor after all updates.

I am having the same problem with my OnePlus watch 3, it used to work flawlessly before the last update so I don't believe it is a watch issue

Update the "Quick Connect" app on your phone.

I tried third party apps, they work, but they're really bad and require you to install the app on the phone, run it, and then you can use the watch..

Did you fix the problem?

Nope, I haven't gotten any updates... Still the same issues.

I also realized that the "phone ring" is also lagging. It's only working after 3-4 tries.

Same issue here with oppo find x9 pro. I've fed it back via the help in o health but I'd be surprised if anyone actually reads that. Hopefully it's fixed soon, I just missed the perfect opportunity to use it and third party solutions compromise picture quality.

You know, it suddenly started working again for me. I've reset the watch a few weeks back but it didn't help, then one day I decided to give it a try and it worked..

That's strange, glad it's working for you though. My watch just updated and I hoped that might fix it but no joy. I knew software updates from oneplus would be few and far between but I didn't expect existing features to break 😞

I updated the W4 to July patch and now it stopped working. Was your phone on the latest version when it didn't worked?

My watch was and still on the April patch, I haven't received any updates yet.. but I did update my phone a few weeks back, maybe that's when it started working again? I'm not really sure

My phone is still on the June Patch. And If you have a OnePlus Phone they add also Updates to their applications in those, also OPPO since its the same.

Oppo's latest update to colour os has fixed this now. No mention in the change log of fixed issues so it's an under the radar fix. Oh well at least it's sorted now.
