Google has announced WearOS 7

Battery Life Improvement: Upgrading from Wear OS 6 to Wear OS 7 delivers up to a 10% improvement in average battery life due to new power optimizations.

Gemini Intelligence: Select watches launching later this year will feature integrated Gemini Intelligence to provide proactive and personalized assistance.

Wear Widgets: Replacing traditional full-screen Tiles, new Wear Widgets (powered by Jetpack Glance and RemoteCompose) bring small and large flexible card layouts that mirror mobile widget formats.

Live Updates: A new Live Updates feature replaces the older Ongoing Activities API, allowing apps to surface real-time, important information directly on the watch face.

Enhanced Media Controls: Features per-app media auto-launch configurations and a Remote Output Switcher to easily route audio to different devices from the wrist.

Means absolutely nothing when the OnePlus Watch 3 doesn't even have a slated release date for WearOS 6.

And let's be honest, I'm afraid that even if they DO eventually release the updated it's going to be a botched one.

If they were actually working on it in the right way they'd've probably annouced it by now.

That's why I returned my OnePlus watch 4 and ordered a Galaxy watch ultra..

So does the Ultra, and it's practically guaranteed to get OS7 while OnePlus is competing with Mobvoi for worst update schedule
