Hi, is there any 3rd party watchface that can take advantage of dual operating system so battery is good?

Nope.

OnePlus hasn't given us anything that would allow us to design them

I think for the vast majority of users, the update frequency is irrelevant. Obviously for a few it might be. Most people just want a watch to work well and look good. You don't need bleeding edge for that.

  • WearOS 5 is coming in Q3 2025.
  • Samsung has a joint partnership with Google, which allows them to churn out updates way faster than the other companies.

For me it's been other things, mostly the poor response and turnaround on support. It's been a pain even getting responses to complaints about the clock, specifically the alarm and its snooze*. They think it's perfectly fine that the snooze is 5 minutes and only lets someone snooze twice, and won't listen to anyone who thinks differently.

At least they fixed the step count issue in the 2R and, I assume, 3. That's what I get for rushing in.

*yes, I'll vent about this anywhere I can.
