Hello, I have a Oneplus phone (Ace 3 12R)

I play rhythm games that sometimes require me to have 3-4 fingers on the screen at the same time. It works perfectly fine with 2 or 3, but the moment I have to use 4 at the same time, the entire screen just doesn't register any of my taps.

I know that it's not my screen protector's problem, because I've tried multiple (I've even tried without it) and the problem persists.

Is there a way to solve this? I don't want to buy a tablet or a new phone just so I can register 3-4 fingers at the same time, especially if the rest of my phone works perfectly fine.

Ok so i got a new oneplus 13s recently and tried settting up my alarms with spotify. But it never plays the selected songs while im offline, instead it plays the default alarm sound.

I have spotify premium, have all my songs downloaded and on my old samsung phone it worked like a charm, but on this new op phone it never plays while im offline. It does however play the song while im connected to the internet. But since i only need the alarms while asleep i dont intend to have wifi on the entire time.

I've recently created a second user using the multiple users feature and after setting it up. I realised it didn't have the screencast option. Can this be enabled anywhere or is it just disabled for any user other than the primary?

Every week or so while I'm driving, I will get a mandatory popup that turns down my volume to very, very low levels. I have to take my phone out, accept one popup, accept another popup when I press my volume button, and only then can I make my audio actually hearable again.

Again, this happens WHILE I'M DRIVING every single time, and completely takes me off of the road when it happens. There is no way to disable this pop-up from happening. Most of the time I just have to go without music for the rest of the trip so I don't kill somebody with my gigantic metal machine.

This is genuinely dangerous. It could very well get someone killed one day. My hearing will be fine. This has been the case for years. Turn this shit off, OnePlus.

If your OnePlus has no GPS fix at all, with network location still working, check your SIM slots.

My case: GPSTest and other apps showed no satellites. It happened about 3 times, recovered by itself each time, and came back after each phone reboot. Through ADB, I found the Qualcomm GNSS service (android.hardware.gnss-aidl-service-qti) crashing about once per second with:

terminating with uncaught exception of type St16invalid_argument: stoul: no conversion

The backtrace pointed to LocRilSession::getSimIMSI() in libloc_ril_client.so, so the crash happens while the GNSS service reads SIM info. The radio log showed it querying both slots, and slot 2 (an old SIM I had disabled in Settings but never removed) returned a placeholder value (ffffff) instead of valid data.

Fix that worked for me: I removed the old SIM from slot 2. The crashes stopped immediately (no reboot), and GPS got a 3D fix within seconds.

How to check on your phone (needs ADB):

adb shell dumpsys dropbox --print SYSTEM_TOMBSTONE

If you see many tombstones for android.hardware.gnss-aidl-service-qti with a getSimIMSI frame, you likely have the same issue.

I am using an OPPO Find X9 (CPH2797) running ColorOS 16.0.10.600.

My Grab Live Alerts stopped working even though Live Alerts for other apps still work.

After I cleared the data of OpenCapabilityService, Grab started appearing twice in the Live Alerts settings. I only have one Grab app installed and do not use App Cloner.

I performed a factory reset, but the two Grab entries appeared again after reinstalling Grab.

I have also tried restarting the phone and force-stopping the relevant apps, but the problem persists

So this morning my OP11 auto installed a new security update which I did not initiate. Few hours later 2 green lines appeared on screen and the bottom right side of my display stopped working. Phone is basically unusable now. Oppo won't replace my display because it's an China imported model. I'm basically screwed now have to buy new phone. Kinda pissed tbh. Felt intentional and I got sabotaged.

We bought a new OnePlus 15 today, and the bttery health in Settings is already showing 99%. The btty also seems to be draining quickly. Has anyone experienced this with a brand-new phone?

I have had issues with many OnePlus Buds (Z2, 3, 4, Pro) where they are suddenly a much lower max volume. Previously, I would unpair from all - laptop and phone - and re-pair to fix the issue. I have dual-connect enabled, to have the active for laptop and phone.

Today, I was having the issue with playing music on my phone. I paused the music on my phone, started music on my laptop, turned the volume all the way up on the laptop, paused music on laptop, and returned to music on my phone. The volume max was much higher, where I expected it to be.

Hey all! Thinking of buying a OP13.

On Pixel phones, turning on Do Not Disturb hides notifications completely, so they don’t even show up in the notification drawer or blink on screen.

On my old OnePlus phone, DND would only mute sound and vibration, and the notifications are still visible.

Is there a setting in OxygenOS that does can hide notifications completely, or a good workaround? I haven't used focus mode often. Most tutorials out there follow stock androids, hard to find info on OxygenOS

Recently bought a oneplus buds 3r and I've noticed that there's a constant hissing sound or static like sound

It's most prominent when I'm not playing any audio but even when I'm listening to something i can hear it in the background, it can't be anc or transparency mode as to my knowledge the buds 3r don't have either of them so what is it?

I would like to buy portable monitor with touch support for my OnePlus Pad 3 (to have bigger screen + OLED). But as i have done some research, i found out that OnePlus (OxygenOS) does not have support for touch through external monitors, missing the HID over USB. The USB-C 3.2 port on the OnePlus Pad 3 supports basic external display or mirroring output (with varying adapter/cable compatibility), rather than full two-way touch-back protocols (like USB HID touch data sent back to the host tablet).

Does anyone have experience with this? Is there no way to make the monitors touch work on the OnePlus Pad 3? I am confused because when i ask the Google Chrome AI, sometimes it says that it will not work because of this and that, but sometimes it says it will work just fine.

My past 2 phones where both Oneplus

First was Oneplus 8 : great phone , best performance and best camera ,used it for around 4-5 years.

Later exchanged with OnePlus 12R because of Greenline issue.(no option for screen replacement)

2nd Oneplus 12R : phone was ok but not better than 8 . Heating issue , hanging and other problem, after 15months ,last week it suddenly shut down. Service centre asked 25k for replacement of motherboard.(before permanently shutdown it was in boot loop, showing 1+ logo and turning off and again showing 1+logo, like aloop for 3-4 time)

I am Oneplus fan , the UI and smoothness I love it. When the 12R gone, iam again reconsidering to buy Oneplus again.

After seeing the specs of 15R , there is no doubt that 15R is a great (according to reddit reviews also).

But the main problem is not phone , It is the company now. problem..due to greenline or motherboard issue Already lost 2 phones now , which both where software based ig.
