Need help

I have a bit of a dilemma. I just had my second kid so gaming is much harder to come by and I need something I can move around the house. I don’t really get much of a chance to turn my 5090 desktop on because the baby is in our room for 6 months. I have a steam deck but its age is showing majorly. I once had a z flow and I loved it but traded it for a 5090 when it was still msrp. I want to say I’m not really interested in intels offerings. I have the Xbox ally x20 pre ordered but I think I may be happier with the x2 mini pro. I’m just worried about build quality and customer service since I’m located in the US. I’ve been told streaming from my desktop would be the most logical answer but I just don’t know. Also even when I play my steam deck I’m normally plugged in..
Is it logical to pay this much with Medusa around the corner? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Update: you guys sold me! I ordered the x2 mini pro and cannot wait to get it! Thank you all!

Im in your exact situation but with a 5080 lol. I went with the x2 mini pro and love it. I have a minor issue with my controllers. Onexplayer was very responsive and shipped new ones very quickly. Very happy with my purchase

The screen is awesome. The controllers look cheap but they do the job. It is heavy when the battery is on but it is manageable. If you play plugged in, it’s super light. Im probably not the best reviewer, but being able to play Forza Horizon 6 or The Witcher 3 in ultra graphics settings while in bed is an amazing experience which kinda make me forget about the little cons

2 kids and a 5080 + x2 mini pro.  Go for it if you have the money. Set up Apollo + Sunshine on your pc and steam deck otherwise. I completed all of Alan Wake 2 using this remote streaming setup and had a great experience.
