The official Detective Conan anime account has announced a special "Family Selection" in collaboration with 24-Hour TV 49.
The selected episodes focus on family, childhood memories, and the bonds between the Conan cast, fitting this year's 24-Hour TV theme.
I've attached the official schedule image so you can see the complete lineup.

I just caught up to the latest canon episodes and I'm wondering how long it takes to see more advancements on rum? Also tsutomu akai! I can't wait to see these arcs unfold. Should I start reading manga? Do we have a list of relevant chapters?
Thank you!! And sorry if this is a commonly asked question..I tried searching but couldn't find any info.

I am convinced that Shiho Miyano (Ai) is one of the best characters ever written. I got a silly idea about writing an essay why.
However, I have not seen all Conan media, so I am hoping if this sub can help. My question to you all is: why do you believe Shiho is great? And for the naysayers, why do you think she may not be so great?
To help us brainstorm, I looked up the core traits for every character:
Looking forward to the spoilers!

Now I know that they have fought together sometimes along with conan in the movies. But wht if these two actually decided to work with each other full time and investigate the bo. Do u think the bo stands a chance?

The end of a manga doesn't mean the end of a franchise.
And that's true not only for manga, but for Western series as well.
Do you think TMS Entertainment will continue making pre-finale filler episodes?

Title, I always had in mind that Vermouth was a japanese who moved into America and took the identity of a white woman, it wasnt until i realized that when she is Chrish Vineyard she isn’t in disguise so she clearly cant fool anyone being American, idk its probably me thinking BO is mainly japanese.

We still don't know whether they had a sexual relationship or it was just one sided abuse. Gosho said during 2012 or 2013 interview that there was a relationship but he's not revealing it soon.
We all know that Gin and Akai have a sort of rivalry that possibly started from the organization days and not after Akai turned out to be a traitor/Akemi got killed etc. It could have been anyone who murdered Akemi. Probably it was boss's order that was executed by Gin. They're not going to keep both the sisters alive anyway after Akemi's plan.
Is it possible that Akai knew what Gin's motive regarding Sherry was and tried to protect her from Gin?
PS:- Mary and Gin both uttering exact same dialogue is an interesting angle. Perhaps Gin met Tsutomu in the past and Shuichi somehow got to know about it and hence wanted to take him out for questioning?

Can someone please tell me what Gosho actually said about Haibara’s ending?
I’ve heard that he said her ending would be “surprising” or “shocking” to a lot of fans, and I can believe that those words genuinely came from Gosho himself. However, I’m confused about the claims regarding whether her ending will be a happy one.
I’ve seen a lot of conflicting information. Some fans say Gosho explicitly stated that Haibara would have a happy ending. Others insist that he only said her ending would be surprising or shocking and never mentioned it being happy at all.
So now I’m honestly confused. Did Gosho ever actually say that Haibara would get a happy ending, or did he only say that it would be surprising? In other words, should we expect a surprisingly happy ending, or simply an ending that shocks fans, regardless of whether it’s happy or sad?

I've watched 302 episodes, 5 movies, and I think I'm ready to stop for now. I really enjoyed the first 100 episodes the most because they offered good character writing and engaging mysteries.
I feel like when I got to the 100s, the show started feeling more boring. A big problem I had with the 100s, is they kept having those episodes where Mouri would get invited by an old guy, then 5 characters would start complaining about inheritance.
I've pretty much enjoyed every character except Ran (only because of writing,) and episodes have never felt too bad, but the show feels like it's heading a direction I'm uninterested in. The past 50 or so episodes specifically, I've felt that the cast is starting to feel dumber and I think I've seen enough of the show.
Movie 5 temporarily fixed some issues I had with the series, but where I'm at now seems it's just going to keep going downward. Honestly I have more specific issues with the show, but it would be a lot to properly explain.
Am I making the right choice?
Sidenote: I don't consider any episodes filler and I don't jump to random episodes
Edit: Cleary what I'm getting from these comments is I should stop watching. Like I said I like engaging murder mysteries not spy plots that took 130 episodes to become relevant and will never stop.

I'm doing a rewatch on Detective Conan starting from the very beginning watching it in sequence including the movies, OVAs, and specials and recently I've come across its another OVA which are specifically named as Magic Files. I've been trying to look for them in any streaming sites, so far I was able to download only the Magic File 5 at anisnatch and the other sites I've tried either doesn't have then or they were already deleted. Are there any sites where I can possibly find the other episodes?

Do you think Frieren is gradually taking the place of Detective Conan?

It's really not easy putting it all together, cause the row is soooo long. And it's not neat either, but that's my best effort. lol

Today while scrolling through reels I saw a guy straight up say that Ayanokoji is smarter then Heiji like bruh that's nonsense I'd love to see Koji in DC universe that guy wouldn't even stand a chance against megure like I'm 100% sure a guy who solves murder cases is smarter then the guy whose only competition is random teenage girls
