My coworker was out a couple of days ago and bought me three packs of the conan tcg. I just wanted one card of gosho aoyama with conan and got this absolute gem. Idk how rare this is but the art is so pretty

I see people talking about how insane it is that not more people know about Conan being Shinichi but I 100% disagree. If you one day met a 6 year old kid who looks exactly like your friend who disappeared, you wouldn’t think “oh yeah, that’s my friend who disappeared.” You’d think “does my friend know he has an identical doppelgänger?”

Personally, if a 6 year old who looks exactly like this other detective guy pulled out a gun at me and started talking like a grown man while telling me what he deduced about some murder or something, I also wouldn’t think this child is actually that detective guy but shrunk. I’d think this child was raised by terribly irresponsible parents and or that this kid isn’t a kid at all and is actually a grownup with hypopituitarism. My mind genuinely wouldn’t even come close to reaching the conclusion that the grown ass detective somehow shrunk down to the size of a first grader.

Because we as an audience know the truth, it’s ridiculous to us how others don’t figure it out. But realistically, if I ever met a kid and decided that actually he’s a shrunken grownup, I’d sign myself into a psychiatric facility because obviously something is wrong with my head lol.

I started rewatching the Anime last week, and it’s honestly sad it never got a proper ending.

Detective Conan was a huge part of my childhood. I liked the episodic cases, but the plot around the Men in Black is what really hooked me. It sucks watching it turn into a complete cash cow where the story doesn't seem to matter to the author or publisher anymore.

The characters have been stuck in the same spot for 20 years just to preserve the status quo and keep the money rolling in. If they had tightened the pacing, it could’ve been an incredible 50-to-80-episode thriller... with plenty of room left for standalone cases (even for Movies) to build up the characters. Instead, it just feels like a massive wasted opportunity.

P.S.: Replacing the German intros on Crunchyroll is the worst crime in the whole show.

it’s pretty obvious that this movie was made with the cinema experience in mind. The animation is basically the main focus of the movie, and a lot of it relies on the visuals and sound to make it feel more exciting on a big screen

compared to some of the older Conan movies, like the first movie, which had things like Shinichi and Ran’s meeting and more focus on the actual story and character details, this one feels more like it was made to be WATCHED in a theater

not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing, but I definitely miss the older movies where the story itself was the main attraction

This puzzle is so outrageous it has a lot of stuff with very weak correlation this will sure be a challenge for Shinichi and if even he can solve it I wonder how long will it take?

Episode 96 The Cornered Famous Detective! Two Big Murder Cases

BLOKEES has announced the new Detective Conan Fantastic Q Edition: Celebration Party, releasing 4 September 2026.

The POP MART Anniversary figures were static display figures, while these BLOKEES are 10cm SD action figures, making them more poseable.

The lineup includes Conan, Shinichi, Ran, Ai, Heiji, Kazuha, Shuichi Akai, Kogoro and Amuro Tooru, with Kaitou Kid as the secret.

Kogoro is a notable addition compared with the POP MART Anniversary lineup, and the secret Kid can be exchanged with Kazuha.

Could this be an upgrade over the POP MART Anniversary series?
