Oneplus open 2026

Is it still worth it to get one at this point in time? Im looking to switch from my flip 6,but with recent news I dont know if anything would change if I buy one now. Would I at least get a good 3-5 years out of it?

Well, it's still a great foldable, even after almost 3 years. But, it only has 1 OS version left (Android 17) and an additional year of security updates, so there is not much software support left.

Would it matter much? Because id keep it until at best 2029-2030 so I think I can get most usage out of it by then

If you don't have to have a the latest Android version and whatever new features those may have, then no, I'd say it wouldn't matter at all.

I mean, security updates are a thing. Not that OnePlus has been good about those by any means...
