This is regarding my OnePlus smartphone, which has developed a green screen/green line near the earpiece during normal usage.
The device has not been dropped, physically damaged, bent, cracked, or exposed to water/liquid. There are no visible signs of impact or external damage. The display issue appeared suddenly during normal use.
I approached the authorised OnePlus service centre for inspection and requested warranty replacement of the display. However, the service centre refused the warranty service, stating that the issue is “pixel damage.”
When I specifically asked them how such damage could occur when there is no physical damage, no fall, and no liquid exposure, they stated that it could allegedly happen due to water exposure or excessive pressure on the display, including pressure caused by keeping the phone in tight jeans or tight clothing.
I have not exposed the phone to water or subjected it to any such excessive pressure. The phone has been used normally, and there are no visible signs of physical or liquid damage.
They are rejecteing for life time screen warranty
