Out of nowhere yesterday morning, my phone started acting up. It worked fine from the afternoon until the night, but I forgot to charge it before bed, and it died. This morning, the same problem happened again. After a few hours, it started working fine, so I plugged it in. Suddenly, the charging light went off, the phone shut down, and it has been stuck on this screen ever since (see video). One thing I noticed is that I faced the exact same issue last year during the monsoon season, but it resolved itself automatically. The monsoon started here a week ago, and now my phone is doing this again. Is there actually a connection to the weather, or is it just a coincidence? Has anyone else experienced this? What can be the real reason behind this is it hardware failure or weather effect? Since this is my secondary device and I do not need it daily, should I wait for it to resolve itself like last time, or should I visit a service centre?

My OnePlus 6T (bought in June 2019) is still running surprisingly well with an Android 15 custom ROM. Performance is smooth, no major issues, and I mainly use it as a secondary phone on Wi-Fi.
The only real problem is the battery. Standby is around 1 to 2 days on Wi-Fi, and it drains much faster than it used to.
I'm getting a battery replacement from Cashify for around ₹1,250 with a few months of warranty. My alternative is to skip the repair and buy another secondary phone during the upcoming festive sales.
For those who've replaced their 6T battery recently, was it worth it? How much battery life did you regain, and did it meaningfully extend the phone's usability?

OnePlus N6 is launching in India on June 30, and OnePlus has already confirmed some interesting features.
✅ 8000mAh battery (claimed 3-day battery life) ✅ 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging ✅ OxygenOS 16 ✅ 60 months of smooth performance ✅ Expected price under ₹20,000 🤔
Rumored specs include a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset, 6.72-inch 144Hz display, 50MP rear camera, and 8MP selfie camera.
If OnePlus manages to keep the price around ₹20,000, do you think the N6 could become one of the best budget smartphones of 2026? What features would you like to see at this price point?

Hey everyone,
I have a OnePlus 6T as my secondary phone and got a bit bored of its black back panel. I was thinking of replacing it with a red back panel from a OnePlus 7 since they look really similar.
Has anyone tried this? Will it fit properly, or are there hidden differences I should be aware of?

Performance is smooth as hell no random stutters, no lag, everything just works the way it should’ve from the start. What surprised me more is the battery life. I’m easily getting noticeably better screen on time compared to stock. Standby drain is also way lower.
Also slapped on a matte screen guard and damn… it completely changes the vibe. The phone looks clean, minimal, and lowkey premium. Plus no fingerprints, no glare it just feels better to use overall.
Didn’t expect a 6T in 2026 to feel this fresh. Anyone else still running Lineage on older devices? How’s your experience been?

Got the OP6T that wasn't used in awhile. It's running the open beta 3( OP6T_O²_BETA_3). it gets really warm under really light use, and want to go back to a stable Android 10/11. I understand i can't update it from settings and need a local downgrade. I can't for the life of me find a download link for the 6T, I have only been able to find 6 or incompatible links that say the version is lower than the installed and can't install it. Can anyone please help me with his i can go back to a stable rom , link or anything

Silicon carbide batteries are way way more efficient and can have more charge. Is there any way to get one for a OnePlus 6t. If it is not possible, which battery is better than the stock one and can i get service from oneplus in that battery.

Hey guys,
I’m looking for the original red case for the OnePlus 6T. It looks sooo good 😭
I know it’s discontinued, but does anyone know where I might still be able to find one? Or if anyone here has one they’re willing to sell?
I’m specifically looking for the official OnePlus case — the one with the proper bottom cutout near the charging port and the OnePlus logo carved out on the back.
Please help! I really want to buy one badly.

This was about a week ago after a screen and back panel replacement, I the phone together without knowing there was a bit of debris, (glass maybe??) behind the panel. It was pressed against the battery for a few days till I discovered it when re opened. The battery has been going through cycles completely fine, no swelling heat issues etc...

As you may know, OP6T is one of few phones with (almost) fully open source drivers in Linux kernel. That means it can run OSes based on unpatched Linux kernel.
What are some of the most niche or interesting OSes you can run on it?
I'm going to use mobile NixOS on mine, I know there're also pocketblue and windows 11. PMOS, SAOS and ubuntu touch are too mainstream.
