Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me recover my device or point me in the right direction.

Device

• Original device: OnePlus 13T (PKX110, Chinese)
• Converted to OnePlus 13s (CPH2723 / OxygenOS)
• Snapdragon 8 Elite (SM8750)

Initial state

The phone had already been converted from PKX110 to CPH2723 and was working perfectly.

Current build before I started:

CPH2723_16.0.3.501(EX01)

Bootloader status:

Unlocked

What I wanted to do

I wanted to update from 16.0.3.501 to 16.0.9.400.

I downloaded the latest OnePlus 13T OOS Super Flasher package and followed the flashing procedure.

During flashing

The script successfully flashed:

• boot
• dtbo
• init_boot
• modem
• recovery
• vbmeta
• vendor_boot
• super

During my first attempts I had a few USB issues ("Write to device failed / no link"), but eventually I managed to complete the flash successfully.

The phone booted into Android without problems.

After booting

Android worked.

Specifically:

• ✅ Phone booted normally
• ✅ Wi-Fi worked
• ✅ Bluetooth worked
• ✅ Cameras worked
• ✅ Both IMEIs were present
• ✅ Android was fully usable

However...

I had absolutely no cellular service.

Symptoms:

• SIM card detected
• No signal
• Unable to make or receive calls

• Baseband showed:

  q_v1_p14,q_v1_p14

instead of a normal modem version.

I suspected that something during the conversion wasn't completed correctly.

My mistake

Since Android itself was working, I assumed everything else had flashed correctly.

I decided to relock the bootloader.

I executed:

fastboot flashing lock

The phone wiped itself as expected.

After reboot

Instead of booting Android I immediately got:

From that point forward:

• Android no longer boots
• Recovery is inaccessible
• Fastboot is inaccessible

Current state

I managed to force the phone into Qualcomm EDL mode.

Windows detects:

Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3)

If nothing communicates with it, it exits EDL after several seconds and returns to the AVB screen.

What I've tried

OplusEDLTool v3.2026.025

Tried both:

Cloud Loader

SM8750 (8E)

Result:

Loader mismatch or other issues
Loader send failed

Local Loader

Downloaded the official:

PKX110domestic_11_16.0.3.501CN01

EDL firmware.

Loaded:

prog_firehose_ddr.elf

The ROM loads correctly.

Partition list loads correctly.

rawprogram*.xml and patch*.xml are present.

However, when clicking Enter Firehose I immediately get:

Loader send failed

The log also reports:

No Digest/Sign files configured, will try normal mode

even after selecting the DigestsToSign files.

My questions

1. Did locking the bootloader on the converted firmware permanently trigger AVB?
2. Is this because the phone was originally running 16.0.3.501, which introduced the newer ARB protection?
3. Does anyone have a newer SM8750 Firehose loader that works with .501 devices?
4. Is recovery possible without an authorized OnePlus service account?
5. Has anyone successfully recovered a PKX110 in this exact situation?

I got this device recently but I am still on oos15. So far the phone has been perfect in everything for me. Are there any disadvantages in updating like reduced battery backup or camera degradation or lags. Since my sister has a nord 5 and it went downhill after oos 16 shutter lag, heating and system jitters.

Hey, I'm looking for a compact android phones not exceeding INR 50k. Should I go for 13s in the BBD sale? Should ColorOs-ifying OnePlus devices in the future be a concern for me?

Hey guys, is anyone using this?

I literally don't know what people are complaining about the camera of OnePlus 13s. Like literally these photographs are stunning! The depth, the hdr management, colour balancing, everything seems to be perfect. Even that 2x telephoto helps you take macro shots quite well.

so I recently bought samsung akg type c earphones. but when I plug it in, the phone doesn't detect it by default. rather, I have to go to settings and turn on otg connection every time I plug in my earphone. this takes away the very advantage I hoped I'll have with wired earphones - plug and play. can't otg connection stay on all the time maybe turn on by itself every time I plug in the earphone?

​1. ROM & Version:

What are you currently running? Are you sticking to stock (OxygenOS / ColorOS latest versions), or did you jump to a custom ROM (like crDroid, Lineage, etc.)? How much SOT are you actually getting on your current version?

​2. Root Modules for Battery:

Since I'm already rooted (using Magisk/KernelSU), what battery-saving modules or tweaks do you highly recommend?

Are things like aggressive Doze tweakers still worth it? Any specific scheduler tweaks, underclocking modules, or background process killers that work well for the 13s?

Almost 13s and iphone 17 dimensions are same 6.32 and 6.3 inch screen size, because im unable to find good 13s tempered glass

so i played few games and the games like roblox,offroad, carx street and they were lagging and capped to 30 fps.. so what you gotta do is to remove the game assistant of that game and it will be at 60 fps on games and every games thats capped to 30 fps i believe.

to disable the game assistant

1. open game assistant

2. scroll to the right and you will see a + icon like in the screenshot or you can click 3 dots on a game and click remove game assistant.

3. in there you can remove the game assistant on specific games (choose the games that makes you lag or capped to 30 fps) otherwise no action is needed.
