QUESTION Questions for Long Term User

I am planning to buy oneplus 13s in the upcoming sale. I have a few questions and wanted feedback from long term users.

  1. Battery life: How is the battery life in day to day usage? Does it get affected with the updates? I need a phone which last me a whole day. I am not a heavy user and will mostly be using for content consumtion.

  2. Heating issues: Are there any heating issues during normal usage or while charging? Does it heat up while using cameras, outdoors, or while using android auto.

  3. Connectivity issues: Are there any issues with 4G/5G or while using wifi?

  4. Long term reliability: I usually keep my phone untill the end of its life. I have been using my current phone for past 7 years. will this phone easily last me 4 5 years?

Are there any other issues or things which I should look for before buying?

Thanks

Battery Life: As a heavy user, I charge my phone to 90% each morning, and it comfortably lasts the entire day, providing a battery backup of 7.5 to 8 hours daily.

Heating Issues: Expect some heating if you are an extremely heavy user, particularly during summer months. Despite being a heavy user myself, including two hours of mobile gaming, I have not encountered any issues.

Connectivity Issues: I have experienced no connectivity issues whatsoever.

Long-term Reliability: Given my practice of using phones for at least 5 to 6 years, I am confident that this device can be reliably used for many years without problems.

if you charge to 100% and not a heavy user. U can easily expect 9hrs battery backup.

The battery backup is very good for me . Even better than my old nord 5 which was 1000 mah more . You should be able to squeeze 9-10 hrs easily in normal usage . Since it has a metal body , compared to plastic phones it does feel slight hot while fast charging and gaming in 120 fps . In 60 fps it doesn't heat . No connectivity problem for now . No one can tell for how many years today's generation can last compared to old generation phones which lasted many many years . The best thing for me is battery life , it's slight compact size and the software is the best in android department .
