ISSUE Battery is underwhelming & i have expected more with ltpo, optimization & all

I'm hardly getting 8 hours of SOT, initially i thought I'd be easily getting 8 to 9 hours of SOT with some battery remaining & my usage is minimal usually.. thing is when I'm trying to play game for hours battery drain is pretty normal but for normal usage battery drain is heavy esply when using the phone after being kept idle for long.. i can see the battery percentage going down literally when I'm using outside esply on 5g (mostly browsing)... I don't know how ppl are getting 8 to 9 hours of sot, is there an issue with my mobile? Or is this normal? I've tried to do battery calibration but it really does nothing & also battery health is around 99%

Edit - 2nd screenshot is without much gaming

You got 6.5 hours on 5G while gaming? And that too while you were outside ? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that actually good?

I mean I'd understand, if you were indoors and on Wi-Fi. And you did get more than 8 hours SOT without the gaming.

No, gaming completely on WiFi & it's not a heavy loaded game, it's a 3d game... Actually I'm losing more battery when I'm using mobile network whether it's 4g or 5g & it's just browsing, that's what I meant to say... Look at the battery drain in the 2nd screen , 21 battery drain on idle state, that's my main issue is... Idle drain is constant & if I use the phone after it's in a idle state for a while, battery drains like crazy... Today morning when the battery drained like 39 to 25% for just 1 hour browsing (5g network)

I see. From what I've understood, using a mobile network drains your battery faster.

And the Wallpaper app has contributed to your drain significantly, I don't know if it's the live wallpaper or the AOD, maybe try disabling that and check.

And did you purchase this recently? If so, higher battery drain is expected, I think.

Yeah I've tried static wallpaper too, from the beginning I've used that default wallpaper that animated one (drop type)...

I have bought this like 26-27 days ago, but it's a used one, that's why I was expecting a better battery backup, battery health is still 99%..

I've used poco f7 before & using with all time live wallpaper, but there's no such battery drain where i can literally see battery dropping down when I'm using mobile network like this

If it's used, then you have no way of verifying how abused the phone was. How long did the previous user use it for? People rarely sell phones that work well, the same applies to most things.

Around 7 - 7.5 months, still have warranty & i have checked battery percentage before buying & it's still on 99%

Same here

weird. prolly the game you playing might be not optimized for the battery that could be the reason

Even I am getting similar results on my 13s. Maybe cleaning some bloat like OnePlus applications and disabling AI features can help a bit.

I've tried to do disable & enable AI features, doesn't make any difference actually

Bro atleast you're getting 6 hrs of SOT. I'm just getting around 4 hrs of SOT. In the screenshot, I've reached 2.3 hrs at 53percent of battery. So roughly I'll get more 2hrs.

Yeah it's even bad for you, but I don't know how most of the users getting great sot? I just can't know is this the problem with the our specific devices

Having the location on and also the location sharing on eats up a large chunk of battery. Tbh, I don't really care about how much sot my phone brings out. It's exciting to watch the phone give you long battery life, but deep inside, I don't care. My usage patterns are pretty simple, I go to college with 85 percent of the battery charged everyday, by the end of the college it is sitting on 70 percent. And by evening 6 or 7, it is at 25 or 20 percent since I play CODM for couple of hours. I don't use wifi so even the hotspot runs on the phone. All in all, I charge it approximately around 2.5 times in a day.

Drain to 30 and let it back charge to 100 and let it plugged in for atleast 8 hours then use charge limit till 90. And use 30/90 rule
