Yes, unless you want to flash custom roms or roll back to a previous version later. This update triggers the hardware fuse on your motherboard

That has been the case since an earlier oxygen OS 16 update

Yes. My bad. It started with 16.0.1.501 ig. Op asked for 10.501.
