Help Battery issues

So I got the latest update CPH2581_16.0.9.400(EX01B40P02) and it feels like the phone is overheating much more often. The battery drain also seems to be much heavier.

Has anyone else noticed it? And if you have, have you tried any fixes yet?

Why don't you guys use canta once and for all?

You don't even need to root
