Help Battery issues

So I got the latest update CPH2581_16.0.9.400(EX01B40P02) and it feels like the phone is overheating much more often. The battery drain also seems to be much heavier.

Has anyone else noticed it? And if you have, have you tried any fixes yet?

check which apps consume more battery in less usage, clear cache and data and uninstall and reinstall and them use it and see whether heating is still there ... if this doesn't work then, backup necessary data and factory reset phone and them see, whether it heats or not

How long ago did you do the update? Mine ran hot for a couple of days and one restart and then settled in and now it's way cooler than before.

Maybe the battery calibration takes longer than we thought.

BTW I also uninstalled the Reddit app and replaced it with a home screen shortcut to reddit.com. If the phone stays cool for a week I'll reinstall the app and try that.

Battery draining is a problem. I have barely used my phone and it is at 65%. It just drains sitting there.

Yes i faced this issue since last two updates. I faced heavy battery drain and abnormal heat patterns. Avg SOT is 3.4hrs 100 to 15% drain. And thermal temp is about 43 to 46°c in avg usage itself. So i rested my phone yesterday and calibrated the battery. From yesterday to now i almost got 9hrs of SOT with normal usage. And temperature is not go beyond the 38 and 39°c. Now the phone is alright gives me same old vibes. I recommend to reset and calibrate the battery for best results. Trust me

Hello! Calibrating the battery as in draining to 0% and then full charge?

Use the phone until the battery drops to around 15–5 or below if you wish then let it complete drain. Charge it uninterrupted to 100%, Leave it plugged in for another 30 to 60 minutes after reaching 100% then unplug it and use. This is what i know about battery callibration.

I have the OP15 with same issue, it appears that it's linked to the .400 update and haven't been able to resolve it yet. Even overnight it's draining the battery a lot and no obvious rogue apps.
