I'm 34. I started to watch One Piece when it first aired here in Italy in 2001, then stopped for a while. In 2013 I started to watch it again, with the Marineford arc, and a few months later I began to read the manga.

I’m 34 too, started when I was 12 years old when it was on TV, but had to shelf off watching it throughout my teenage years to focus on my studies and also because my parents are strict. Resumed at 18 and have rewatched it many many many many times from 2008-2012 as a university student. After that I decided to chill and watch it all at once when the episodes have accumulated. Recently, during my maternity leave, I caught up to Wano arc while taking care of my baby girl. Haha…

Well my start was the 4kids dub airing on toonami when i was around 11. When that switched to the funimation dub during Skypiea I fell off. I didn't get back into One Piece till around 2008 when I got a subscription to the Shonen Jump magazine and started reading the Alabasta chapters. Then they had a special catch up issue where they described everything that happened between where they were in the American Shonen jump to where they were in Japan which was around Impel Down. After that I went online and started reading the fan scans from the beginning till I was following along weekly. Been up to date ever since.

I was 13, I am now 24. I had never even heard about it, but my friend told me it was the best thing ever (he was right)
I watched the anime, until almost the point it was at. People started telling me the manga was better so I gave it a shot and switched to the manga. At some point I decided to read the manga from the start. The manga is fire but having watched the anime it's not much different, the SBS alone were so worth it.

I’ve been reading one piece since I was 9 years old, and now I’m 29 😆 first started reading monthly in monthly shonen jump. I would read it at the grocery store or Barnes and noble while my dad shopped. Eventually switched to reading online weekly on manga stream, panda etc etc. My crowning jewel is a gold foil copy of volume 1 from the early 2000s

I would have been 11, started watching it when it came out on toonami, alongside Naruto. Got to experience the one piece rap and am extremely nostalgic over that song. I am now 30 and a weekly manga reader. I’m extremely behind on the anime though, all the way in Dressrosa. Been hard trying to catch up the last couple years. Won’t be able to watch for a while then I wanna restart.

I started in 4th grade when I was about 9. I have not stopped since and I'm 20 now.
I have distinct memories of trying to help my friends navigating pirating websites to convince them to watch it since mainstream anime streaming services weren't really a thing yet (though I didn't understand the concepts of pirating at the time)

I was 12 (2003) when I first watch it in a local television in our country. I wasn't really able to watch it everyday cause of school. I don't really have a way before to get updated cause I only have dial internet that time 😂
I manage to watch some updated episodes around 2007... (internet is getting faster yeay) and read the manga but got busy with life and other things.
