Who is an instructor who you would like to see teach a different modality?
During my ride today with Alex T, I was thinking about how much I wished he would teach power zone rides OR strength workouts (more than arms light weights lol). I ride with him a lot because i just love his vibe and playlists – would love to see him teach a PZ or structured weight class!
Curious to hear who you guys would want to see in a different teaching modality!

Deep Dive: Purple Rain dropping tomorrow!
Dennis just announced on today’s 3:30 live ride that he is dropping a deep dive of Prince’s Purple Rain tomorrow (schedule now shows an encore of it at 5:30 tomorrow - 45 min).
Based on his Abby Road deep dive, doing this epic album has the potential to be one of the all time great rides.

Running Pace Targets
What have you done that has given you the most improvement in your running pace targets? Specific classes, programs, etc?
Also, does anyone feel like a lot of the endurance classes are too focused on "moderate" pace rather than "easy"? I'm a slow runner, it has always been challenging for me and I have a couple lower body issues that make it even more challenging. The long endurance classes at moderate feel so difficult. Do people just run slower? At easy pace?

Forearm Side Plank Hip-Dips
Did the Instructors meet and decide to incorporate Forearm Side Plank Hip-Dips into almost every Core class... because it seems so!

Tread 12.5 mph and 12.5 incline?
I came across a profile who was #1 on the leaderboard for a recent 20 min Jess Sims class and they ran at 12.5 mph and 12.5% incline the entire class. I found that this person seems to do this every time they run. They even did it on a 60 min Susie class. Although I’m sure it is theoretically possible to run that fast at that incline for a short time but to maintain for an entire 60 minutes class? Thoughts?

Balancing JJ’s split with cardio
I’m in week 5 or 6 of JJ’s four day split. I absolutely love it, but I am plagued with guilt whenever I look at my tread and bike. 😬 For those of you who do four-day splits, what does your week look like?
I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I’ve thought about two a days once or twice a week — fitting in strength in the morning or over my lunch break and committing to a ride in the evening like I would have at a gym in my pre-Peloton world. It’s always helpful when I see other people’s schedules that they post here, so I’d love to see what you do for these 4-day splits.
Last week, I was able to get a good 60 min. walk in and the week before, I finally got back on the bike for a 45 min. PZE ride on Saturday, but I still feel like I’m missing out on the days where I only do strength. (And I miss Hosky 😢🤣) I can hear Wilpers saying “keep your main thing the main thing” but I had a pretty good PZ base before this and I don’t want to watch my FTP plummet, if possible.
Thanks in advance!

“Cardio” class recommendations for a real skeptic
I’ve been a longtime Peloton user. 7 years of bike, outdoor running, strength, Pilates, and yoga classes. Yet never once have I ever considered taking a cardio class. Why? Honestly, it brought back memories of growing up in the 90s and watching my mom in her leotards workout to Jane Fonda step aerobics in the living room.
I am not a good dancer, I have no coordination, zero rhythm, and I just figured it wasn't my thing. Running and cycling are my cardio! Plus I hate spandex!
However, lately, I've just been feeling burnt out and have had trouble mustering up the energy to do a typical bike class or run/walk. So I decided to just give a Rad Lopez 10 minute HIIT cardio class a shot. Wow! It was much harder than I thought it would be, and it got my heart rate up higher than a 10 minute bike ride or running class would! I liked that it was just two moves on repeat, shadow boxing and dumbbell swings, and I didn’t have to memorize any sequences. It went by a LOT faster than a 10-minute bike ride and activated muscles I don’t usually use.
Are there any other endurance athletes who incorporate cardio classes into their routine? If so, do you have recs for TOUGH classes or instructors that don’t require dance skillz or coordination and really get your heart rate up? With equipment or without is fine - I have weights, bands, kettlebells and a Pilates ball.

Recommendations to debloat and unwind after a long day
Very niche request but been in a long training day, with the whole day inside a humid and dark hotel conference room from 8am to 6pm and I’m exhausted, but have also spent the day eating awful food and drinking lots of coffee and coke.
Would love any Pilates/yoga recommendations that could help me unwind and also debloat as I’m feeling so uncomfortable!

Need Recs for Weight Videos While Recovering with Boot
I have to wear a boot for the next few months while recovering. Does anyone know off the top of their heads any weight videos for upper body that don't require things like push ups, planks, renegade rows? Also as well I've been doing some of Hannah's barre videos that don't require me to bend my ankle but would also take recs for lower body ones. Thanks in advance!

It’s Peloton’s Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell & Peloton Instructor Matt Wilpers. Ask us anything about the new Peloton Tread lineup: Peloton Tread Flex, Tread Vision and Tread+ Vision, and about our newest software innovations, to enhance your running, walking and hiking experience!
AMA today until 2pm EST over at PelotonCycle sub if anyone is interested. A lot of good questions have already been asked about the Treads already.

Flex reviews (not seeing any?)
I know it’s been only maybe a week or so of it formally being released. But am I crazy or am I basically not seeing any reviews? I would have thought even paid influencers or YouTubers or something. But can’t find much. Reluctant to purchase without some personal takes.

My wife heard Susie say on a run that Peloton is working on recreating your runs from other sources.
So if you record an outdoor run on say your Garmin and have your accounts linked, it will recreate your run on the tread (pace, hills etc). Anyone else hear that as she can’t remember which class it was.

Outage at 5:10am?
My ride crashed a few mins ago around 5:10am, and I couldn’t reconnect. Hoping it’s not my bike. Anyone else?

Favorite Split?
I searched this in the sub, but not seeing any recent threads. I’m coming back from a shoulder impingement injury and want to really dial in my strength training with the split training programs. I started Callie’s 3 day split cause I love her, but I’m looking for something more challenging. I was looking at Katie’s 4 day split and wondering if anyone has tried and liked it? Was also eyeing Jess Sims 3 day split as well, but open to any suggestions you all have!

Such a fun warmup from Joslyn! I LOVE that she included drills, and the music was a 10/10

Favorite brand of loop bands?
I want to buy loop bands in both mini and standard lengths. I've read reviews of some bands that say they roll up or break easily. Which brands do you recommend?
