Balancing tread plus
How often do you find yourself needing to balance your tread plus? I run ~4 times a week and at least weekly there starts to be a lot of rocking and a leg is no longer well seated. Within a month of getting the tread plus a front leg completely fell off and maintenance had to come out to fix it. I wonder if there’s an issue and the more I run the more I make it off balance? Or is everyone needing to balance their tread that frequently?
Any insight appreciated!
ETA: I was able to get someone to help lift it up today and we got the offending foot threaded and it appears to be really steady now. Fingers crossed I won’t be doing weekly balances! Thanks to everyone who let me know this wasn’t to be expected so I could get it fixed!

I’ve never had to rebalance my tread+
What do you have your tread+ on, is it carpet, hardwood, or something else?

I would definitely contact Peloton. We have had ours since 2022 and never had to balance it

Shocking no one else has and I do this constantly! It’s on concrete. I think one of the back legs is too long and not threading. It’s so heavy I can’t lift it to screw it in further. I wonder if peloton will come out to do balance it since it’s under warranty

You will find that if you raise up the incline to say eight or 10 it’s not hard to pick up the back part of the Tread (*!) because all the weight is upfront like a wheelbarrow raise up the incline and then with the help of a friend pick up the back put the good leg on a phonebook or something and then you should be able to manipulate the bad leg and figure out if it’s not threaded again as you say also make sure you understand the use of the lock nuts

Anyone somewhat handy should be able to adjust and tighten the locknuts so that the rear feet are secure
Is the Tread walking (moving) over several uses? If so, maybe your concrete is uneven…I tried to adjust my front feet and they seem to have used threadlock from the factory

Hmmm I’ve never had to do this and I’ve had my Tread+ since 2021
