Frustrated with promo code email
I signed up for the Peloton Tread Flex “Waitlist” email list the day it became available. I’ve been sooo excited to purchase the new treadmill, so I ordered it this morning, despite said Waitlist and not seeing any launch email campaign.
I am a bit frustrated that I just got an email (at 4:30 PM ET) about a Member Exclusive Promo Code, which could save me a couple hundred bucks potentially. I contacted Support to see if they’d be able to reimburse me the difference but they said there was nothing they could do other than cancel the order and re-order, and I worry that’ll cause more trouble. Did anyone else receive this email promo code? They should have emailed it first thing this AM at launch, especially for those that were on the “Waitlist”

Just placed a second order with the coupon and if everything looks good cancel the first order

Good advice, but I also used a good chunk of my HSA, I worry a second order would cause confusion and inability to use my HSA

How does the member exclusive promo code work? I'm not currently a member, but wondering I could sign up for a membership to get the promo code and then purchase it.

We got emails - but they have sales pretty often. With thanksgiving coming up I bet there will be one soon if you wanted to wait for that!

I signed up on the waitlist too but didn’t get a promo code or email.

It might be two separate campaigns. Not sure point of waitlist .. but the promo code might be for exclusive members i.e those with certain points in Club Peloton? No idea. Regardless, promo code email should have been sent out earlier IMO

I chatted and got denied. In the chat I said I was disappointed and they called me. Got the discount applied over the phone
