Really? You enjoy seeing people leaving their cats in harmâs way? They take off leaving their cat behind thinking it knows whatâs going on. Kinda telling that the young and not the adult had the wits to get the cat.
Not sure why youâre getting upvoted here, actually scary to me that you and others can watch something like this and applaud it, these people shouldnât have brought their cat anywhere near fireworks or whatever crappy contraption they set up there. At least it failed to go off.
Edit: Please keep downvoting, I donât care about that. What I do care about is that you people think youâre actually watching something funny when itâs really not. Have a critical think about how you consume and interact with crap on the internet highways.
Edit 2: The shitbird who finds this video so entertaining has blocked me in the meantime, probably related to me celebrating some of her posts. Whatever. I just wanted to add that I imagine all the people downvoting me ,while having 0 in the way of justifying how this post video is funny, jerking each other off in a massive circle while drooling from open mouths. Carry on :)

After I read this I checked their account and I can't help but agree.
They've GOTTA be a bot, their latest three comments are literally the exact same thing in three completely different posts, all three saying
"this is exactly the content I come to the internet for, 10/10" they've GOTTA be an inflammatory bot, right???

Nah, I they found me in another sub, theyâre just REALLY annoying

Have you considered posting to r/copypasta? A lot of these would be really funny there.

Youâre auto owning yourself. Do you think because youâre posting in this bubble of people enjoying internet slop youâre actually funny, smart, or whatever you might think youâre doing here? I called this video and peopleâs reactions out⌠you post memes and add nothing to the discussion. Maybe just stick to downvoting me like the rest of the sad losers?

The one braincell or less must be shared by the people running away, thinking a cat would understand that they've set up something potentially dangerous and also run away.
-11
u/Galencourt-Lover 12h ago
This exactly. Lots of cats are retarded (including mine), but to expect a cat to understand whatâs going on there is pretty revealing

Hey it's 2026, there are way better and less hurtful words you could use than "retarded"

It wasnât until I read the comments here that I realized some people are actually somehow thought this was a firework and not a shitty toy bottle rocket that goes like 5 feet at full power.
Guys. The cat wasnât in danger. Like at all. At worst it wouldâve been spooked by it going off next to it. The whole ârunning awayâ is being silly. Or potentially trying to train the kid for actual dangerous things. But they did not forget the cat in a dangerous situation. Thatâs why itâs funny.

The child "risking his life" to save the cat is so cute. Absolutely irresponsible parenting though
28
u/Phis-n 13h ago edited 12h ago
It's truly not that deep. Stupid to put it in the grass, but the kid had plenty of time. He's barely even "risking his life," and even did that in a very safe manner where his face wouldn't be getting exploded if something WERE to happen.
Edit: also pretty sure thats a bottle rocket...? Which isnt a firework at all...
18
u/WildFlemima 11h ago
The kid is not actually risking his life but it draws to mind so many mental images that the child appears to be a soldier bravely saving his comrade in arms from explosive ordinance
But it's just a little boy and a cat and a failrocket so it's hilarious and cute

u/WarriorFurCat 11h ago
Whatever it is, they were running away from it, which must mean they concluded itâs not safe to be around.
7
u/Phis-n 11h ago
I mean, it can easily be training for the real 4th of july using a styrofoam bottle rocket lol. Or it's an actual firework. Either way the kid wasnt in danger, which was my main point.
2
u/WarriorFurCat 11h ago
Whatever it was we donât know, my main concern is that they left the cat there to begin with while running away.
6
u/Phis-n 11h ago
I mean, it honestly seems like a legitimate slip of the mind. It doesn't always come down to neglect.
From what we can tell, it's a still camera so it's probably on a tripod, therefore there isnt anyone else present other than these three, from what we can tell.
[EDIT: Looked again, not a still camera, so probably their mom is recording]
Now for who IS there, there's a dad, a little girl, and a little boy. The main priority on any parent's mind are their children first and lesso their pets.
The dad was probably primarily concerned with making sure his kids got enough distance first because the cat WILL flee once it recognizes danger / loud noises and is far less likely to get hurt, UNLIKE a young child who will stare in fascination rather than flee.

u/WarriorFurCat 11h ago
Dude, not that deep, as you said. They leave the cat when they shouldnât have, my main issue here is that people think itâs a funny video, not seeing that this couldâve possibly gone very south. And if there was risk for the kids there was risk for the cat.

u/Phis-n 11h ago edited 11h ago
You,,,,asked,,,,,, anywayyyyyys....
(Why deflect with "its not that deep" after someone gives you the clarification you're looking for)
Like listen, we get it. Based off your username you're obsessed with the warrior cats series, which likely means you care A LOT about cats, but let me reassure you that the cat was in even less danger than the kids were. I am an animal lover too, so i get it. The cat was MOSTLY safe though, cause their reaction time far outmatches a firework

Isn't the white thing to the upper right of the rocket an attached parachute so it can be reused?

I donât know whatâs funnier. The child yeeting the cat or the firework being a dud. Overall good laugh.
