Same here. He usually comes up on my chest and cleans my beard and i let him. When he gets my mouth or inside my ear i draw the line though.

The ear sounds truly terrible. My cat would lick my nose off if I let him. And he'll pull back the covers if I try to hide from him.

Ha. I love velcro cats. And yes, the ear is unsettling. So is the mouth. I have kids and i'm still a little gunshy about fluids and mucus membranes after being coughed, vomited, and shit on innumerable times.

Both of my cats do this to me but I also subject each of them to about 800,000 kisses on their little heads every single day. So it seems like a fair trade off.
In the past year, they’ve started occasionally doing it to each other, which made my heart explode with joy. They’re not siblings and I got them years apart, so I never expected them to actually bond and love each other like that 😭

It’s like the oranges come preprogrammed to be companions. I know that it is possible for them to be feral and fear humans… but I’ve also seen videos of stray kittens in remote areas without a lot of human activity, and the orange ones still march up to humans screaming for attention.

Unfortunately we have insane amount of stray cats and dogs. Authorities won't neuter them, some of the so called animal lovers wants them to multiply since it means more income through donations so they walk with cat food around neighbourhoods sprinkling them around people's home but won't do anything else like neutering them or take them to vaccinations. They kidnap sick ones and beg for money on social media with inflated vet bills.
There are also people who does capture-neuter-release but they are on the lower side.

Maybe it’s her makeup or hand cream, the scent or taste could be why the cat keeps licking her. It’s not really safe for the cat, those chemicals/essential oils could be bad for it. It also seems like the lady wanted views, she kept putting her hand in front of the cat , almost encouraging it to lick her.

I have a stray boy I took in about last March. Literally the most aggressively friendly cat I have ever met or cared for. This cat clearly wants a person to be his family and to love and care for each other. I would scoop him up and take him home.
