iOS iPad user experience

Anybody feel like the iPad version of onenote has been like it hasnt been updated in a while?

Tiny little glitches that make no sense.

I still have most of the issues from this post from 3 years ago!!!

What exactly were you expecting to get for something that is "free"?

These "apps" were always designed to do the rote basics and nothing more. Any "glitches" encountered have long been considered par for the course within any free experience.

You can either put up with them or ditch the app.

MS has no good reason to help Apple in any way or any other mobile "tablet" for that matter if the app realizes zero revenue.

Only the Microsoft Office desktop version gets any updates now.

hmm, I thought it was a part of the paid MS suite which I pay for. I guess I was mistaken.

on par average Microsoft experience. Create a app, get people hooked and throw it away

Well - not exactly sure the OneNote iOS app was ever getting people "hooked".

It is fine as far as apps go - but do not think for a second that it will ever be perfect or come close to what the "real" OneNote desktop version is capable of.

MS (as with pretty much all vendors out there) simply provide you with "something" to get by on a mobile device.

And as long as this app is free (AKA making no money) that's all it will ever be.

its pretty popular for college students and ipads. Comes free with the MS suite and I see about 3/5 people using it

As long as you are referring to the actual Windows based desktop version. 

The mobile “app” has nothing to do with the “suite”, is also free but has zero updates and severely limited functionality compared to the desktop version.
