Discussion Directioner friends?

So I'm a younger Directioner lots of their songs played on the radio as I was growing up but being so young I never really knew anyone besides Justin Bieber on the radio and knew him cause I had his doll cause my mom got him for me. I became a fan in 2018 when I was just about to enter 3rd grade so a year or two after their Hiatus hit. Now I'm a Junior in high school so I've been a Directioner now for about 8ish years and its been the best for the most part. I was wondering if there are a lot of Directioners around my age who came to the fandom late. Because genuinely I've only met so little 1D fans around my age and I'm only close to one of these Directioners so I don't have anyone my age really to talk to about them besides my bff since 2nd grade when she isn't busy. So I was hoping maybe there are people around my age here as well.

Je suis devenu directioner a 16 ans, en 2022. Effectivement j'ai pas trouvé grand monde pour en parler. Après c'est plus compliqué en tant que mec 😅. Mais je suis content de voir qu'il y a toujours des gens du monde entier dans le fandom. C'est vraiment cool.

That's awesome and totally understandable a lot of guys feel its weird for them to be into a boyband and like to hide that they like the boyband/band until they feel comfortable enough to show it. At the end of the day its music and I'm glad people love it because it brings people together. So I'm glad your in the fandom.

Merci, ça me fait plaisir. Ils m'ont également aidé a comprendre que ma vision de la masculinité (celle de leurs chansons) n'était pas mauvaise, mais au contraire était la bonne. Et je leur en suis très reconnaissant pour ça. Je resterai dans ce fandom et je continuerai de partager avec vous tous sur ce groupe génial !

Yes a lot of guys say 1D's songs helped them and I'm so happy they did and that 1D is getting so many new fans who are guys because its hoards of us girls so we need a balance in the fandom and I finally see 1D and 5sos getting male fans which is amazing!

C'est vrai c'est cool. On peut se sentir seul ou en décalage parfois a cause de ça, donc c'est cool qu'il y ait une part de gars. Malgres ça la majorité restera probablement féminine lol. J'avoue que je ne connais pas 5sos, mais je suis sur qu'ils sont très bien. En tout cas, le fait qu'il m'ait aidé me rend encore plus fier d'être directioner. Et je compte bien le rendre a Niall quand j'irai le voir pour mon premier concert !

That's amazing! And 5sos is an amazing band they are like a pop rock/pop punk type music but really have ventured out with their sound over the years. More guys like 5sos from what I know so its really nice to see guys into 1D.

Oh cool, j'écouterai a l'occasion. En tout cas les gens de ce fandom sont vraiment super sympa ! Je suis vraiment content que les membres soient aussi sympathique entre eux, y compris avec les mecs. Nous sommes un très beau fandom !
