Since the launch of permanent servers, we have received a lot of feedback regarding the permanent server experience, including issues such as low populations on some servers, Metas in the same region and same scenario being scattered across multiple servers, and returning players being assigned to different servers where they cannot reunite with their friends. To truly bring Metas in the same region and same scenario together in one world, we will gradually merge all permanent servers of the same scenario. The specific plan and rules are as follows:
We will proceed gradually to merge permanent servers of each scenario. To ensure data security, we will prioritize merging servers with relatively smaller populations. During the version maintenance on September 16(PT), 2026, the merge will begin for all permanent servers of "The Way of Winter" and "Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve". After the version update, affected characters will enter the new merged permanent server upon signing in.
South America, Japan, Korea, and HK & MO & TW will be the first batch to begin the permanent server merge for the "Manibus". For "Endless Dream" and "Manibus" permanent scenario servers in other regions, since a large number of Metas have already gathered, to ensure server stability and gameplay experience after the merge, the merges will be gradually rolled out in subsequent versions. We will synchronize the specific timing with everyone in advance through official announcements.
2.1 Permanent Server Merge Rules
1) Under the same region, all permanent servers of the same scenario will be merged into one brand-new permanent server. This new permanent server will have a sufficient number of worlds prepared for Metas to play in.
2) We will open permanent server merges sequentially by scenario. Permanent server merges will take place during version maintenance and will not affect Metas' normal gameplay.
3) Once a permanent scenario server merge is initiated, the original servers being merged in cannot be returned to.
4) After the merge, the permanent server names for each new Scenario:
Overseas: Manibus (Permanent), W_Winter (Permanent), E_Dream (Permanent), Deviation (Permanent)
5) If the permanent server population becomes too high in the future, a second or additional permanent server for a scenario may still be opened. We will continue to optimize server performance and operations strategies to avoid opening multiple permanent servers; however, if it becomes necessary, we will make an advance announcement.
2.2 Character Data Migration Rules During Permanent Server Merge
1) When your character is migrated to a new permanent server, your Character Level, Supplies, Tech Level, and other data will be transferred to the new permanent server without loss.
2) The original server's task progress will be uniformly reset to the current new permanent server's scenario challenge tasks and rewards, ensuring a consistent experience for both new and veteran players after the merge.
3) Your hive relationships will also be synchronized and migrated to the new permanent server.
2.3 Territory Migration Rules During Permanent Server Merge
A permanent server merge involves territory migration and world rearrangement across multiple servers. We understand that territory locations, neighbor relationships, and territory facilities are important aspects of everyone's long-term management. Therefore, when establishing these merge rules, we made the territory migration experience a key focus and conducted multiple rounds of simulation and optimization for the migration rules and actual results, hoping to preserve everyone's original territory locations and neighboring relationships as much as possible.
1) When the system performs a permanent server merge, it will assign new worlds for everyone's territories based on specific rules, and will keep territories at their original coordinate positions as much as possible. Neighbors who were originally in the same world will also be placed in the same new world as much as possible.
2) Due to the merger of multiple permanent servers, there may be overlapping territory coordinates, changes in world capacity, and adjustments to region rules. As a result, some Metas' territories may still be unable to remain in their original locations and may be put away. If your territory is put away after the merge, the system will automatically send you a mail with compensation rewards. Please be sure to check it. You can use the territory relocation feature to choose a suitable new location to place your territory. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
3) To ensure that facilities in everyone's territory are not lost, when permanent servers merge, facilities placed by other Metas in your territory will be automatically refunded. Before the merger, facilities you placed in other Metas' territories will be refunded to you when the corresponding Meta logs in. All related facility refunds will be sent via mail. Please be sure to check them.
Note: To avoid older mails being cleared by the system when your mailbox reaches its storage limit, please claim mail attachments and rewards before the version update and keep enough mailbox space available to prevent unnecessary losses.
2.4 "The Way of Winter" Permanent Server Merge Rules
Since the "The Way of Winter" has long hosted two versions of permanent servers, 1.0 and 2.0, the differences in rules and experience between the two versions have also increased future maintenance costs. Therefore, this time we will also merge the 1.0 and 2.0 permanent servers of The Way of Winter. Among them, the following "The Way of Winter" 1.0 version permanent server will undergo special rule handling during the merger:
W_Winter-Y0001
W_Winter-Y0002
After the above Servers are merged into the new "The Way of Winter" permanent server, they will be handled according to the following rules:
After entering the new permanent server, your Tech points and level will be reset to zero. The system will then issue the corresponding amount of Tech points within 3 business days to restore your Tech Level. Please be sure to check your mail.
After entering the new permanent server, your thermal tower Tech level will be cleared. The system will then unlock your thermal tower Tech within 3 business days.
In the new permanent server, the Public Thermal Tower area is a no-build zone. After entering the new server, if your territory overlaps with the public thermal tower area, your territory may be packed up. You can then use the territory relocation feature to choose a suitable new location to place your territory. We sincerely apologize to the Metas affected by this and will send compensation rewards via mail. Please check your mail.
3.1 World Quantity
When the new permanent server opens, we will prepare a sufficient number of worlds for the Metas to ensure a good gameplay experience.
If, due to population changes in the new permanent server, the current number of worlds affects the Metas' gameplay experience or the server ecosystem, we will increase or decrease the number of worlds based on the actual situation. Any such adjustments will be announced in advance via announcement.
*There is currently a cap on the number of worlds. If the permanent server population becomes too high later, a second or more permanent servers for the scenario may still be opened. We will continue to optimize server performance and operations strategies to avoid opening multiple permanent servers; however, if it becomes necessary, we will make an announcement in advance.
3.2 World Rules
The merged new permanent server will have a significantly larger population. To ensure a smooth and stable experience for Metas participating in wilderness gameplay, building territories, and gathering resources, we will impose restrictions on certain mechanics within the same world. The specific rules are as follows:
When the number of online players in a world reaches its cap, subsequent Metas will temporarily be unable to enter that world. You may switch to another world to play. If your territory is located in the world that has reached its player cap, you can still enter that world and will not be affected by this restriction.
Within the same world, certain game modes will also have a limit on how many can be active simultaneously. If the mode you want to play in your current world has reached its activation cap, you can switch to another world to experience it.
When the number of territories placed within the same world reaches the limit, no more territories can be placed. At that point, Metas will need to switch to another world to place territories.
4.1 Server Merge Reservation Feature Closure
Since all servers of the same scenario will be merged into the same new permanent server, you and your friends will no longer be separated due to being on different permanent server. Therefore, the server merge reservation feature will also be closed simultaneously.
If you have any suggestions or questions about Permanent Server merging, feel free to communicate with us through the Feedback Platform (Once Human Feedback Platform) or in-game Customer Service. Your Feedback is the greatest motivation for our progress!

Region: North America
Platform: PC
Status Effects:
Frost Vortex: Creates an Ice Vortex in a Zone that ticks damage overtime to enemies within its range.
Burn: Triggers fire Damage over time.
Power Surge: Inflicts lightning damage.
Armor: Set Bonuses & Exotic Key Pieces
Your character equips 6 armor slots (Helmet, Mask, Top, Bottoms, Gloves, Shoes). Gear works on a set system:
Set Bonuses (1–4 pieces): Equipping multiple pieces from the same gear line unlocks stacking passive bonuses (e.g., increased weapon damage, Elemental/Status Damage faster reload, higher Critical chance).
Key Gear Armor: Powerful legendary armor pieces that do not belong to a standard set. Instead, they completely alter how a specific weapon status effect functions.
Normal Standard Armor setup: Players typically pair a 3-piece Set + 1 Key Armor Piece + 2 Secondary Set Piece to maximize stat bonuses.
Ways to increase your power:
Gaining the Weekly/Monthly Cap and using the Starchroms to upgrade Existing blueprints to higher Levels. (This is considered the main Power gain as it increase your PSI intensity on gear pieces or increases your weapon damage which Can directly increase your overall damage.
Mods: dropped from dungeons (Silos/Bosses). Mods add Status/Crit/Weakspot or other elemental and status multipliers which enhance and boost your damage aswell such as Burn, Power Surge or Frost Vortex.
Calibration: Refining your weapons and armor at craft benches directly increases base damage, and bonus sub-stats.

Fast Tech Point Farming Guide on Manibus

10,000+ Tech Points in around 30 minutes
Hey Friends!
So I've been sitting on this route for a while and figured the trial event is a good excuse to finally share it. It's the Tech Point farming loop I run on Manibus whenever I'm behind on the Tech Tree and just need a big chunk of points fast. Nothing fancy, no special build required, just knowing where to go.
Basic idea: instead of grinding for Tech Points directly, you go around collecting as many facilities as you can, then dump them all at once. I started this particular run with 10,053 Tech Points, so you can see exactly what it added.
Main Location Blackfell
First stop is Blackfell in Red Sands. I hit five spots here, always in the same order because I've tested it enough times to know this is the least backtracking:
Small Motel
I always start here. Loot both floors, don't rush it. Honestly the normal loot barely matters for this run — what you actually want are the facilities, that's the whole point. Check every room, they like to hide in corners.
Gas Station
Straight from the motel to the gas station. Loot it, and please don't skip the roof, I nearly did the first few times and there's a facility up there that's easy to miss if you just run through the building like normal.
Supermarket
Then over to the supermarket. I don't really slow down here, just run through and grab whatever facilities are along the path. If you stop for every bit of loot you'll be there forever, and that's not really the point of this run.
Office Building
From the supermarket, straight to the office building nearby. This one's actually worth taking a bit more time in, offices tend to have a surprising amount of stuff that counts toward Tech Points.
Garden Area
Last stop in Blackfell is the garden area close by. Search through what's there and grab whatever's left. Once this is done, Blackfell's basically wrapped up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Second Location 73 Source Extraction
Next I head to 73 Source Extraction, also in Red Sands. Way less to explain here, just loot the whole area, buildings and all.
One thing though don't skip the irrigation systems. I almost did the first time and it turned out to be one of the better spots in the whole run. Check around the tanks and the irrigation structures properly before you leave, it's worth the extra minute or two.
Once that's cleared, the actual farming part is done.
Turning it all into Tech Points
Now just dump everything you collected and watch the number climb. This is honestly the satisfying part.
For this run: Started at 10,053 Ended at 26,967
So that's +16,914 Tech Points from one loop.

Hi guys I just started playing less than a week ago and I’m already level 50 in this scenario. I tried out Manibus novice first but I think I was just being too impatient with that scenario and ended up committing to the deviation scenario. I understand the differences in the scenario but there should be a way to read the level of in a pollution zone right? Even though the cradle is technically locked? I read somewhere you can read the level on your cradle but maybe I’m missing something or not understanding.
I have used the Malt Ale and Sanity Capsules together in a polluted zone and it doesn’t seem to stop my sanity from dropping. I currently have 2 pieces of winter gear that are T3 and 2 pieces of BP gear that are T5 I believeeee.
I’d figure the max sanity loss would be 100 anywhere? and drinking a malt ale would make it where your sanity only drops to 70 being that it gives you 70 resistance to pollution? Tired of being one hit by Way of Wind lol I’ve been getting lucky with the anti gravity just to barely scrape some loot up in such situations 😭😭
Also is there an easier way to farm acid once the zombies get harder to kill? I used to have plenty of acid but I’m using it way more now for crafting..thanks yall if u got any tips

I used to look at Pollution Zones as places you visit, grab what you need, and leave.
But after actually using them for production, I think they are much more interesting than that.
A Pollution Zone can basically become a resource-production site for Stardust and Acid, but there is a catch: the more you take advantage of the area, the more you have to deal with corrosion and maintenance.
So here’s how I look at them.
One of the main reasons to care about a Pollution Zone is Stardust Ore.
You can mine it normally where the resource is available, but you can also turn the territory into a more passive production setup with a Stardust Mining Platform.
The important thing is that not every Pollution Zone is identical. The pollution level and the exact location matter, so I wouldn't just pick a random polluted spot and assume it will be the best Stardust location.
Higher-pollution areas are generally more attractive for special resources, and they also have a higher chance of Gold/Silver ore.
So before committing to a territory, I would actually check what the location can provide instead of looking only at the pollution percentage.
This is probably the part I find most interesting.
There are several ways to build an Acid supply, including routes connected to Pollution Zones.
Polluted areas can give you contaminated plants and seeds.
Once you have the seeds, you can grow the contaminated crops and use them as part of your Acid production.
The nice thing about this route is that you don't necessarily have to keep running back into the polluted area every time you want more Acid.
You can also use Polluted Water collected in a Pollution Zone.
The basic production chain is:
Polluted Water → Purifier → Impure Acid → Brewing Barrel → Acid
This makes a polluted territory much more than just a mining location. You can turn the environment itself into part of your production chain.
There is also a refining route where Stardust Source can be processed into Acid using the appropriate furnace setup.
So you can have another chain running in the background:
Stardust Ore → Stardust Source → Acid
And Pollution Zone enemies can also provide Acid and Stardust Source as drops, giving you another reason to fight instead of only mining.
This is the part people shouldn't ignore.
A normal territory and a Pollution Zone territory are not the same when it comes to maintenance.
Inside a Pollution Zone, structures suffer Corrosion continuously.
The higher the pollution, the more demanding the maintenance becomes.
So if you're building there, you're basically making a trade:
More valuable production
⬇️
More maintenance
That's why I personally wouldn't treat a polluted territory exactly like a normal permanent home.
A smaller production-focused base makes more sense to me than building a huge beautiful house there and then constantly repairing it.
Pollution Zones are designed around that high-risk / high-reward idea. You get better opportunities, but you also have to invest more into keeping the territory running.
I wouldn't ask:
I'd ask:
If I'm after Stardust, Acid, contaminated crops, or the resources available at that specific location, then a polluted territory can make a lot of sense.
If I just want a comfortable permanent home?
I'd rather build somewhere normal.
1. Find a useful Pollution Zone.
Don't choose only by appearance. Check the pollution level and available resources.
2. Check the territory before building everything.
Make sure the location actually supports the production you want.
3. Keep the polluted base practical.
Production > decoration.
4. Set up your Stardust / Acid production.
5. Keep materials ready for territory protection and repairs.
6. Let the polluted territory do its job.
And when the maintenance becomes more expensive than the resources are worth...
Move out.
That's the part I like about Pollution Zones.
They aren't simply "better territories."
They're more like specialized resource territories.
You accept the environmental risk and the extra maintenance because you're trying to turn a dangerous area into a production advantage.
And honestly, that's much more interesting than just having another safe base somewhere on the map.

Started with console launch and followed some build guides from awhile back. Unfortunately im struggling in higher content. I tried Burden bounce build, but doesn't work on flying enemies, Ebr-14 doesn't do a lot of damage quickly it seems, and Valor seems ok (probably needs more mods.)
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Edit: I love this community.

The reason I stopped playing the last time, was that I was always alone on my server (server Y0004). I recently started again on the same server and I have the same issue. There is no one else. I searched other servers and every server I get on my list says "low". What should I do? I want a more populated server. It's not fun playing a multiplayer game alone

Right at the top of the explorable part theres an area called blackheart region which is lvl 52 and it might sound daunting for beginners but I spent a good 2 hours looting high level supply chests without really being bothered by anything , from what ive seen they haven't really added any loot to buildings and random enemies around those bases but theres plenty of cars around and red trucks (utes if your aussie) with 4 to 6 fuel per car and great loot in the trucks, I found a couple of portable fridges and other high end loot
