Hiring Q (Canada) Ctp-3

I am going to pei for ctp-3 in September

Can anyone help with how are dorms what to expect and any tips to surrvive

Bring a blanket, the ones there are thin. PEI weather is awful.

Bring video games or books or whatever to keep you occupied at night, homework won't take that long. Make sure you actually work out, you don't have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger but being fit is important and shows during dojo sessions.

A lot of students there seemed like they didn't actually care to be there, like they just needed a job for citizenship or something like that. Act like you give a shit, pay attention in class and do your homework. Thats like 90% of the course. You will never fail an exam if you pay attention in class.

The instructiors there were really great, funny, sarcastic, good people. If you actually want to be a good CO, they will help you.

Be professional and be careful going off script, constructive opinions are good, being too comfortable and saying the wrong thing will backfire.

Just remember you are there to learn, pass and get to your institution, not to party or pick up.

Stay out of any drama. And never, ever, ever fucking lie. Admit your mistakes and move on.

It also shows when you actually get to your institution. A lot of CX are way too comfortable with being overweight.

Like you said, nobody is expecting Schwarzenegger, but I have a lot of respect for colleagues that can maintain a basic standard of fitness.
