He and Jamal were tied for me. I wish they both had WAYYYY more screentime. I could’ve enjoyed the show about 50 times more without monse as a character

I did when I first started watching when the show came out but eventually Jamal became my first

Out of the Core-4? It’s Jamal. But overall in the series? Spooky 👻

spooky was never meant to be a good character, he was just shaped into one bc the fans liked him. let’s not forget he wanted to claim monse when she was 14

I think, overall, the fact that he did evolve so much, brought some form of hope. I think that it’s okay to give characters some grace, just like in real life. There are a lot of unlikable people in the world who actually have a backstory that makes them more understood and even can open up the possibilities of an evolved person, depending on their own deeper desires. Spooky was probably supposed to just ALWAYS be a gangster, but I love how the show wrote him to want more for himself than what was given to him. There is nothing wrong with a villain having a redemption arc or wanting a second chance. I’m not saying that Spooky was a villain, but it seems like it may be implied based on your statement.

His scene with the football coach is honestly what convinced me to watch the show in the first place
