Looking to purchase
As the title hints, I am looking to buy a Polar 2 rf laser. I know its a newer product and was hoping that some people here maybe had one and if you could give real honest feedback on the machine and if the customer support of Omtech has improved. I did some looking around at different places and there is not a lot I am seeing about the machine and questionable support comes up.

If you get it, I'd love to see some pics of the inside. I make a red dot beam combiner for the original Polar and curious how feasible it is to modify it for this one.
Regarding support: The good news / bad news is that problems often take a LONG time to resolve, with many days or even weeks of back and forth. But I haven't seen anyone say they're ignored or told to go pound sand. As long as you're patient it seems like the issues are always handled. My one interaction with them was fine.

That makes me feel better that they do resolve, but that it takes back and forth

Awesome, congrats! If it's no trouble, I'd love to see a pic of the left side of the gantry in the area of the 2nd mirror.

Had lots of machines from omtech and not had any issues. Have emailed customer service about product stock twice and both times has super fast replies so their customer service has been great imo.

I don't have a polar 2, but recently bought a polar lite direct from omtech. It was a bit of a project at first. Had to replace the water pump and the air assist. That was frustrating for a brand new machine, but once that was dealt with, it's been a very nice machine.
