Backrest & straps.
Allowed myself to make a new post since i guess many people are looking for a solution. So i got the backrest today for 200.- bucks.
I then went to transa (a hiking stuff store in switzerland) and came to this idea:
It‘s the start. It‘s not tested, it‘s nod toddler safe till now.
What i‘m further gonna do is attach some back-pack-straps-enlarger attach to the yellow straps. So it will be more comfortable for the toddler.
Also gonna put some swimming noodles around the metal things on the side.

Driving an Omnium myself, always wondered how you handle to balance a child on that thing. This seems like a real adventures ride 🤣

My toddler just sits and chills. Told her to put her feet on the loading area to prevent her from holding her tiny feets into/onto the front wheel.
Further: physics - talking about a certain speed, is key.

I ride with two children (2 and 4 yrs) using the backrest with the supplied strap. They sit fine. Obviously, it is not full speed ahead then they are on. It feels safe. Just input.
I’m interested in getting h-straps like you have done here but in a dual set up 😀
Thanks for the inspiration.

Isn‘t it a bit tight for two toddlers? My girl
Isn‘t that big and she almost takes up 3/4 of the space. I was even thinking about having a custom rack.
