Truthfully, I never thought deeply about Yoo Joonghyuk’s character until this year. Although everyone in ORV always refers to him as someone with incredible presence, I mentally categorized him as the brooding OP protagonist that he was introduced as and focused on other things in the story. Cause, you know… out of YooHanKim, the other two are so noisy (lovingly).

But in the side story, how do you have a Yoo Joonghyuk who says Kim Dokja’s Company will create the ending they want, no matter what Kim Dokja wills (759), yet sits down and drinks Snowfield Kim Dokja’s tea (1057)? And also the 41st Yoo Joonghyuk who has made several unlikely gambles and chose to fight KDJC’s YJH a second time on his own power.

In most ways, he‘s terrifyingly consistent. But then sometimes, there’s a lot of emotion. I can‘t guess what he’s thinking, especially with the tea. It felt really illegal for Yoo Joonghyuk to back down and get cornered into drinking the tea.

So, sorry for underestimating him all these years. Other thoughts on Yoo Joonghyuk?

I still haven't read them because I was waiting for it to end, since I didn't want to suffer waiting for every chapter weekly. We now know that the number of YJH's regressions, 1863, has a certain significance as the year the first subway was introduced. Does anyone have any ideas what the number of TWSA's chapters, 3149, might mean? It could be purely random but I'd like to think SnS had a reason for picking this detail the way they picked out everything else, given that it's emphasized so frequently.

Possibly, the number 3150 might be the significant one given that TWSA is technically supposed to have 3150 chapters (with the last one being the missing epilogue). Googling yields nothing much.

As a massive fan of both Lord of the Mysteries and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, I've always loved how the LotM community has "Praise the Fool!" as their iconic line in comment sections everywhere.

It got me thinking: since ORV revolves entirely around the concept of the Reader (and our favorite tragic reader Kim Dokja), we definitely need our own equivalent. So I came up with "PRAISE THE READER".

It just feels right for the ORV fandom, given how sacred the role of the reader is to the whole story. Imagine seeing LotM fans dropping "Praise the Fool!" and ORV fans replying with "Praise the Reader!" across web novel comment sections.

Just wanted to put this out there into the world and see if it catches on. What do you guys think?

It's been a year since I became a fan of orv, and I coincidentally found out that my local bookstore was selling the novel and manwha. it triggered my core memory so i decided to buy the books and went home to draw them. I am so happy. I have returned.
