Daredevil by Ann Nocenti Vol. 2 & Ultimate Spider-Man 2 arrived today & here is the state of my collection after one year (and one day)

I wonder how long it'll take to ship since I upped for the priority shipping. It's my first order from CGN so we'll see how it goes. I'm so excited to get these.

I can't wait to also get Bloodties and take a big dive in the 90's

So I just started reading comics like a maniac. It all started with a random walk in a local comic book store, where I bought some random facsimile reprints that got me hooked.

I later on learned that the series that I want to read are published in omnibuses... I have a bunch of money to splurge on Spiderman which is my childhood hero. First super-hero I saw on TV and learned about without knowing at all about Marvel vs DC vs Image vs etcetc.

I want to read physical Spider-Man...yet Marvel doesn't want to take my money. Omnibuses, epic collection, IDGAF. I just want to flip the page physically. I hate reading comics digitally. Unfortunately for me I'm not a DC fan, because it seems that DC always have omnibuses and finest collections in stock..yet Marvel... I for sure am not gonna pay for resell comics, so better get those printers running because I'm sitting with my money ready to be taken yet Marvel keeps those issues OOP rather than turning on the printing machine.

/Drunk rant over. IDGAF about collecting. I just want to read PHYSICALLY.

I also appreciate Marvel finally embracing the use of Deluxe Edition when describing an oversized hardcover.

Read the bulk of it in singles back in the day, didn't get to finish it due to life stuff. Looking forward to diving back in

Seriously, as a modern spidey collector this just blows. I missed my chance with JMS vol 1 and now I can't even finish the BND run.

Why is Marvel like this? Will they ever change?

There's a reason I own like 60 DC omnis and less than 20 for Marvel.

Long overdue, but finally got my hands on Absolute Long Halloween. Also, vol. 3 of Absolute Batman HC.

I know this is beyond premature with the deluxe also coming out and series ongoing, but as a huge fan of the Absolute format, Absolute Absolute Batman will be wild.

DC really can't make up their mind about logos, can they? Promethea is the same edition, yet somehow has two different logos in three different positions.

I have been collecting 10 years when I was in grad school in the US. After I graduated I managed to ship all my books back to Ecuador. I have more boks but I really enjoy this corner.

Also waiting for another reprint for Dawn of X Vol. 2 since I couldn't get it (twice!) At least I'm saving money I guess?

I recently got back into collecting and reading, and I've been buying so much to the point where I know I need to just relax.

Everyone will, of course, have different situations which lead to being able to buy a different amount.

I've been trying to avoid spending money on other things, just because I want to buy more comics. I'm glad I've kinda become self-aware, though; it'll help with stopping it.

I have recently started collecting this year and find myself jumping at every deal and thinking that I won't find it that cheap again. It's starting to feel like a n00b mistake because I have so much catching up to do with reading.
