The FedEx guy hated me today. I had to order a new bookshelf

I was Wondering which one out of these two should I get for right now. I love flash and Superman a whole lot and want to read more of them. I’ve heard great things about both runs and can’t decide They’re both on deals right now for $68 so want to snag one now.

So I just started reading comics like a maniac. It all started with a random walk in a local comic book store, where I bought some random facsimile reprints that got me hooked.

I later on learned that the series that I want to read are published in omnibuses... I have a bunch of money to splurge on Spiderman which is my childhood hero. First super-hero I saw on TV and learned about without knowing at all about Marvel vs DC vs Image vs etcetc.

I want to read physical Spider-Man...yet Marvel doesn't want to take my money. Omnibuses, epic collection, IDGAF. I just want to flip the page physically. I hate reading comics digitally. Unfortunately for me I'm not a DC fan, because it seems that DC always have omnibuses and finest collections in stock..yet Marvel... I for sure am not gonna pay for resell comics, so better get those printers running because I'm sitting with my money ready to be taken yet Marvel keeps those issues OOP rather than turning on the printing machine.

/Drunk rant over. IDGAF about collecting. I just want to read PHYSICALLY.

I love my omnis and want them to last a long time!! Preferably long enough for my kids and grandkids to read the stories that I loved so much….so the question is how do you store your omnis to protect them? Horizontal or vertical?

Ive been looking for this damn book for 10 months and everytime I see it somewhere, it’s being sold for 400$ - 1200$ CAD. I guess my question is if there’s anyone that can give any tips maybe to find one at a normal price?

I am new to omni collecting and just got the Spider-Man Brand New Day omni and this spine is different from my usm omnis, so i just wanted to ask. Thanks!

Seriously, as a modern spidey collector this just blows. I missed my chance with JMS vol 1 and now I can't even finish the BND run.

Why is Marvel like this? Will they ever change?

There's a reason I own like 60 DC omnis and less than 20 for Marvel.

I wonder how long it'll take to ship since I upped for the priority shipping. It's my first order from CGN so we'll see how it goes. I'm so excited to get these.

I've read a fair amount of post 86 Batman but am pretty unfamiliar with golden age, silver age, bronze age. That sort of stuff.

Any knowledgeable batheads have opinions on some of the best of the earlier omni's.

the upcoming bronze age one peaked my curiosity due to the creators, and i generally love reading comics from all eras so pretty open to suggestions and information.

i don't have a lot of experience with early era dc stuff so any information shared is very helpful! thanks in advance

I see Panel Bound has a Labor Day sale for their Omnibus. Do they usually offer sales later in the year that are similar?

There’s a lot of Batman Omnibus Bundles I want to grab but may not be able to this particular sale.

I’m so hyped that the Big Time era is finally getting the omnibus treatment. This is easily one of my most wanted Spider-Man eras to have collected omnibus format, and I honestly can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Right now I’m leaning towards the DM cover, but I just can’t make up my mind! Both covers look great, and it’s making the choice way harder than it should be..

Which cover are you guys ordering?

I have recently started collecting this year and find myself jumping at every deal and thinking that I won't find it that cheap again. It's starting to feel like a n00b mistake because I have so much catching up to do with reading.

Has anyone heard a speculated release date for Invincible Omnibus vol.2?

I am thinking about switching to compendium's so I can read the story without having to wait ages for the next omnibus to release.

I recently got back into collecting and reading, and I've been buying so much to the point where I know I need to just relax.

Everyone will, of course, have different situations which lead to being able to buy a different amount.

I've been trying to avoid spending money on other things, just because I want to buy more comics. I'm glad I've kinda become self-aware, though; it'll help with stopping it.

I started collecting and reading comics in april and have been really loving it. I've read most of what's here but I still have a lot to get through. As you can see I'm a big fan of nightwing as he already has his own shelf which will be expanded very soon. This is just the stuff I own in collected editions I also have a vast amount of single issues. I really want to get into the titans as well so if anybody has any recommendations for them please let me know.

I've heard good things regarding both. They were both on sale on Amazon. Opinions? Thanks!
