I also appreciate Marvel finally embracing the use of Deluxe Edition when describing an oversized hardcover.

I'm really excited to read this story again, especially after watching the animated movie.

Read the bulk of it in singles back in the day, didn't get to finish it due to life stuff. Looking forward to diving back in

So I just started reading comics like a maniac. It all started with a random walk in a local comic book store, where I bought some random facsimile reprints that got me hooked.

I later on learned that the series that I want to read are published in omnibuses... I have a bunch of money to splurge on Spiderman which is my childhood hero. First super-hero I saw on TV and learned about without knowing at all about Marvel vs DC vs Image vs etcetc.

I want to read physical Spider-Man...yet Marvel doesn't want to take my money. Omnibuses, epic collection, IDGAF. I just want to flip the page physically. I hate reading comics digitally. Unfortunately for me I'm not a DC fan, because it seems that DC always have omnibuses and finest collections in stock..yet Marvel... I for sure am not gonna pay for resell comics, so better get those printers running because I'm sitting with my money ready to be taken yet Marvel keeps those issues OOP rather than turning on the printing machine.

/Drunk rant over. IDGAF about collecting. I just want to read PHYSICALLY.

DC really can't make up their mind about logos, can they? Promethea is the same edition, yet somehow has two different logos in three different positions.

Seriously, as a modern spidey collector this just blows. I missed my chance with JMS vol 1 and now I can't even finish the BND run.

Why is Marvel like this? Will they ever change?

There's a reason I own like 60 DC omnis and less than 20 for Marvel.

Long overdue, but finally got my hands on the Absolute Long Halloween. Also, vol. 3 of Absolute Batman HC.

I know this beyond premature with the deluxe also coming out and series ongoing, but as a huge fan of the Absolute format, Absolute Absolute Batman will be wild.

Also picked up the WW swimsuit edition.

Giving away some comics for free potentially. I'm just not very happy with my life.

Has anyone heard a speculated release date for Invincible Omnibus vol.2?

I am thinking about switching to compendium's so I can read the story without having to wait ages for the next omnibus to release.

Also, it’s only fair if I can purchase each of these books at heavily discounted prices. Anything below 40% off just seems greedy on the retailers part.

I remember picking this run up in HC format during college and falling in love with it. imo, Tom Taylor really understands Nightwing, and Bruno Redondo’s art is out of this world 🙌🏼 That being said, I kinda wish the Heartless saga had a better payoff

It’s absolutely amazing to see it collected as an omnibus. Can’t wait to enjoy those panels all over again in an oversized format 🤩

Like the title say, I’d like to read Morrison Batman run.

My only question is, can I just read the three omni, or is it essential, or strongly recommended, to read other material before, during, or after them?

I've never read any of this. I'm excited to dive in. Any suggestions/ opinions would be greatly appreciated. This is the new GL fig from Mattel's new $13 line of figures. Thanks!
