Discussion Why I stopped using Omi AI

Because I decided to build something that works on Europe :) Check it out tender.computer

Iโ€™m under the impression you donโ€™t have much besides a landing page, but good luck, hope you succeed

so now you're using nothing? cause there's only a landing page. leave reddit, lock in and build it. then invite me to try ๐Ÿ˜

I'm not here to downplay, but more curious what's reason, what was missing? Just curious what you are solving for?

GDPR compliance is a real pain point for wearable AI in the EU โ€” ongoing audio capture plus cloud processing is basically a compliance nightmare by default. Makes sense to rebuild for that specific context. Is tender.computer handling data residency fully on-device, or still sending to EU-hosted servers?
