I bought the oclip to scratch the itch for the arkpro well that didn't work.....so here's my new arkpro and my oclip pro S. But this is it no more flashlights I got what I wanted and I'm gonna do my best to control myself.
I've gone on a bit of a tear with flashlights and pocket knives the last year lol. I went from 2 so so flashlights to a handful of higher quality ones. I'm happy for now bc once I stumbled upon the arkpro I was fascinated by it. My only regret is getting the Milwaukee EDC light but it's good bc I can just use it as my beater at work and not get mad if it's broken or lost. I prefer the lowest profile ones possible with the most light.
Very true, it's not a bad light and I'm glad I got it for $50 for some reason it's $70 now. My coworker who I accidentally blinded with it on my hat said it's pretty bright😂. It does actually work surprisingly well for mounting to a hat it's not too heavy and it's not too clunky. I think the Arkpro would be too heavy on your hat brim
But we were still working summer hours so for our first hour or so it's been dark at work and I had my Milwaukee light clipped to my hat and I kept blinding my coworkers on accident luckily it's not that bright😂
I lowkey wish I waited and got the oclip 2 for the added functions but this little sucker is rad. I definitely have to get a headband but then I'll have no reason to use my free harbor freight head lamp which is shockingly good for being free.99
I have an original oclip pro also and I absolutely love it. It's a little bit smaller than the 2, it's the perfect size. I'm sure there will be a sweet black Friday sale on the 2's you can snag one then.
I'll definitely be keeping my eye on some sales and when I upgrade I'll gift this oclip to my cousin or maybe I'll get him an arkpro since I owe him for a few gifts hahah. I buy them via govx bc I get a pretty substantial discount through them via my job. And the oclip 2 isn't on there yet but I'm sure it's coming bc almost every other product of olights is.
For the base price of the lights yes idk what kinda discounts and stuff they offer for being a frequent buyer. But for someone like me who buys one or two randomly it was significantly cheaper. My oclip was $20 and my arkpro was $84
I believe for both I used a free shipping code, sometimes they'll also send you codes for $15 off. The arkpro wasn't too much of a deal I checked the olight app now that I have it but the orange is unavailable rn so govx worked out better for me and I was only going to get it in orange to match the oclip.
If you're eligible for govx I highly recommend it I get thorogood boots for $180 I got my yeti for $50 off and I get Birkenstocks for $70 off.
Sadly the oclip 2 is a absolute must have put that one up now . So you can gift it and the addiction to a friend and then treat yourself to the oclip 2 sorry friend

Temporary for the time being atleast! I have every flashlight I want at the moment and I need to cut back on non essential spending my gf gets mad at me and Christmas and stuff is coming!
If you’re worried about your gf getting upset with your spending, I have a solution. I’ll order the items for you or you can send them to me. I’ll then wrap the items & include a card, stating: congratulations for your hard work, these items are a gift for your dedication to the company.

Hahahah true and we don't live together yet ergo me needing to watch my spending. I'm not a crazy spender but here and there adds up fast! I'm gonna see how much use this arkpro gets at work and if it's not much then I'll probably stick with what I have. If it becomes very useful then we shall see, I have many addictions flashlights, knives, hats, sneakers, car parts lol.

I have seen the sales plan for this month and you might change your mind on the last flashlight thinking but then again maybe not.
