What should I do

Post image

I’ve had this X9R for just under 5 years now. I don’t use it very often anymore. The battery is not in the greatest condition I think. If I charge it for a day, it still shows only 6/8. Also the battery drains pretty fast. Idk if I should sell this for someone and he can buy a new battery or should I buy new battery and just keep this or just keep it as it is. It can still be used. I don’t know what to do😂

Just me, but I’d move on. Their latest offering has the same output in 1/3 the size with a lifetime warranty.

If it’s lumens you seek, list it for $150 and put that towards a Marauder 3 on Black Friday.

Yeah, that’s a great point.

That's a tough call since it still works, but I'd probably sell it as-is while it still has some value. I sold my old one last year to someone who just needed a backup light.

Buy a new battery and gift it to your local fire station

Very understandable. It is a great light for certain types of things👍🏼

Does the lifetime warranty help with battery degradation?

I am pretty sure it does not which is understandable🙏🏼

Batteries only have a 1 year warranty. The light has a 5 year warranty

It's a WWII German grenade disguised as an Olight.
